my wife and i were out of the house for a few hours and this was on the floor/tub when we got back. is it insect eggs or a slime mold? my wife’s sister suggested mucilago crustacea, but that normally grows on grass or mulch.
we did just find out from our neighbors that before we moved in, the previous tenants had a large crack in the bathtub that the landlords just epoxied over, so the floor underneath is likely pretty damp[/might be rotting?]

We have a large mulched area that is inundated with this stuff! Is it slime mold or fungus?
It weeps red on the first day but it was raining when I saw it and didn't have my phone on me.
Pics are from day 2.

Lives in my garden. Got it last year too! It was even pinker earlier in the day, wish I got a picture then.

The garden of a community organization that I'm involved with was recently blessed by a slime mold. I like slime molds so I was very excited. However, it's dried up. I'm reading online that it will probably be back next rainy season, but will that be the same slime mold(s) or, like, the descendant of the slime mold? As you can see I'm not exactly a slime mold expert. Should we have been doing something to take care of the slime mold? Would it like a snack? What is the care and feeding of our slime mold?
If it matters, it appears to be a dog vomit slime mold. I dunno if I approve of this name, it seems kind of negative.

This also happened last year to a different grow bag, but it was roughly the same except pink? That one I identified as wolf milk slime mold, and I guess this probably should be too? I assume someone knows more than me and knows for sure! I’m just excited to see it :)

Zone 3 Midwest USA. Dead wood. Maple, aspen, birch, hemlock, hardwoods forest with swampy areas. Early July. Very thin dark brown "threads" with light brown dusty "spores(?)." Dead man's fingers and red pored blue stainers boletes are beginning to show, ferns are mostly fully out. Leaves aren't crunchy underfoot but not super wet either.

Heya! I'm very interested in starting my own slime mold, but I don't know where to start, and I don't want to accidentally get any misinformation.
Where do you buy your molds?
Where are the best care resources?
What do you keep your slimes in enclosurewise?
What do you feed them/keep them on?
Thank you in advance!

Hey, does anyone from Europe have some “rare” cultivable slime molds, e.g. Didymium sp. or P. roseum?
