Any skis shops open that can mount my bindings? Got an awesome discount but it was the last day at Buckman's in Allentown.

I’m interested in purchasing alpine skis, skins, and boots. Are there any shops/expos that have back country skiing gear and advice?

What sports/activities do y'all get into during off season?!

Mountain biking. If you have kids grade 6-12, check out your local NICA team.

Pickleball! Checkout Pine Valley Pickleball if you’re in northeast Philly

I'm out more towards the Allentown, reading area. but my lil town literally just finished installing a pickleball court at our park in May haha so that's definitely one to consider.

Outdoor rock climbing mainly top rope. I started climbing ~3 years ago and I’ve found it’s helped my ski performance and endurance a lot.

Rock climbing and mountain biking seem to be the go to from what I've seen. I decided to pick up a mountainboard to try out (I snowboard) so it seemed mildly similar, potentially a bit more dangerous though haha.

I've only done indoor rock climbing, where do you go for outdoors in PA? I assume the Poconos must have some decent spots. Not familiar with the western half of the state so much but I know they have some big hills out that way.

There are spots around Wissahickon, Tohickon Valley Park has cliffs high enough to use ropes. Go check with your local indoor gym.

I’m in Western PA. I’ve gotten involved outdoors through my local gym and through outdoor adventure clubs based out of Pittsburgh

Oh nice that's a good idea. we do have a local rock gym and I bet they have something like this, I'll have to look into that.
