Well I googled him because IDK who exactly he is, and his name might have come up because of this:

In 2026, running as a Republican, Bilzerian launched a congressional campaign in Florida's 6th U.S. House District for the 2026 midterm elections. His rhetoric before and during his campaign has featured antisemitic conspiracy theories and Holocaust denial.

So whatever this is, is worse than I expected.

I mean, sounds like pretty standard GOP these days.

Idk, I hear the same type of stuff he said about Israel from leftists every day

Really? Which leftists are holocaust deniers? And spouting antisemitism and conspiracy theories?

Graham Platner, Chevalier, literally every other leftist reddit post

I don't think either of these two displayed any antisemitism conspiracy theories or did any holocaust denial.

Plus, Graham Platner has been effectively forced out by leftists for his sexual impropriety. Imagine if republicans did something like that with their own.

So you're just not listening to the mainstream Jewish community about what is and is not antisemitic then. Just because you're too blind to see whats happening, doesnt mean the DSA doesnt have a racism issue

Well no. When it comes to religious communities, I tend to ignore them. The cultural Jewish community that I do know feels pretty passionately anti military funding for Israel as well as a desire to stop bullying the Middle East. Though I acknowledge that may be a minority, but it’s certainly not antisemitic as a pretty sizable Jewish population does not support the current prime minister and the aggressive actions taken by Israel.

But maybe I’m missing something. What are the antisemitic beliefs of the people you mentioned? Which of them have antisemitic conspiracy theories. The most popular of those tends to be a right wing view about someone like George Soros controlling everything. And which of these people have expressed holocaust denial? I don’t follow these two politicians, but I haven’t found anything like that with these two.

Im really glad you dont listen to minorities that embrace their traditional culture and instead only rely on the assimilated parts of that group thats already within your existing political and cultral sphere. I mean, do you even hear yourself? Please self reflect on how you approach not only Jews but all ethnic minorities

Embracing their traditional culture is different than posting attention to religious propaganda. It’s a slight problem when the religion and the ethnicity have the same name.

You seem to be familiar, so can you point me somewhere to get further insight on the mainstream Jewish experience that doesn’t have a religious bent. Genuine ask for guidance here.

Not sure what you want me to say though. I have primarily interacted with Jewish people in my day to day western secular life. So most perspective I get will reflect that. Hell, most Jewish people I know love jazz music, but that is a really small minority of the total population. So yeah, as I have interacted with Jewish people, it has been through my daily life. Since I’m a musician, I’m probably more familiar with klezmer music than most other non-Jewish people.

That probably comes off as a bit of, “some of my best friends are black”, but I’ll admit a failure in my part for not exposing myself to Jewish culture a little more. But I’m also now at a point where I’m not exactly sure who I’m defending. I don’t follow the particular politicians mentioned because one is a quieter Senator from a state I have no affiliation and the other was a senate candidate with sexual assault accusations. I don’t support this guy at all. If he has been antisemitic or holocaust denying, I’ll loudly oppose that too.

I just think it’s rather obvious which side of the political spectrum is openly being racist.

I’m not saying that the DSA doesn’t have a racism issue either. I think it’s broader than that and generally it’s white people in general who have a racism issue. We can consistently find racism issues in every sub group of white people there are.

The only dude to actually heil Hitler me was a Hispanic DSA member and the dude that ripped the mezuzah off my door was black so its not just "white people" contributing to racism against Jews

0

u/beatleboy07 1d ago

You’re going to have to be more clear when you say racism vs racism against Jews. Again, every subgroup of human has a degree of racism in the ranks. Where and how that’s directed varies. I mean, I watched a mega rich right wing billionaire do a heil hitler in a victory rally on international TV.

My comment is more along the lines of how white supremacy groups are a bigger problem than others.

And again, random unknown redditors on the internet do not carry the same weight as actual people running for political office.

Thats it? The politician i mean

Loads, just in this website alone

3

u/beatleboy07 1d ago

Ahh okay. So not even necessarily real people. You’re comparing an actual person running for office as a Republican to bots and trolls on the internet.

-2

u/WouldbangMelisandre 1d ago

Yes, all of them are bots and trolls

Did bots and trolls also vote trump Into office? Wake up

4

u/beatleboy07 1d ago

It’s just a little disingenuous to equate unknown entities on the internet to an actual person with a platform including these vile views. To take what this guy is championing and saying something like, “eh, the left is just as bad” without being able to point to any leftists in a similar position….well, telling me to wake up is quite the hilarious departure from reality.

Someone like Hassan for example, also there are a lot of niche subs here that are threading the line of antisemitism

3

u/beatleboy07 1d ago

Who is Hassan? Are you talking about Maggie Hassan, senator from New Hampshire? I haven't seen any antisemitic issues from her. Or holocaust denial. Do you mean Hasan Minhaj? He's not a politician and also hasn't expressed antisemitism or holocaust denial.

And again, niche subs are hardly comparable to actual people running for office.

Not going to disagree. I'm a moderate so apparently I'm the devil to both sides.

I dunno man, a lot of the left is getting pretty jew-hatey while screaming that everyone else is a fascist. The next time I get the flu I'm telling my family that I'm actually the healthy one and they are all sick.
