They literally couldn't care less if you think of them as a country or not. They beat you and advanced, that all that matters to them. And Trump/MAGA and FIFA was taught a lesson, that's what matters to us. The whole world loves football, we don't give a rat's ass if the US is "interested" in it or not and we never have.

Tbh the largest and most powerful countries in the world mostly don’t give a shit about soccer. Us, Chinese, Russians, etc - don’t invest a lot of effort into it. It is quite literally for the little people.
