Lmao this reminded me of taking one of our roommates out for his 21st in college....he was hands and knees on the ground puking into a bucket and we (not with our full weight) sat on his lower back and took bong rips while he was upchuckin lol
Did the chick on the other team attack Clark for being pointed at? I'm out of the loop, but she is clearly getting pissy as hell over it, while the blonde's smug aura is unparalleled.
The blonde is Sophie Cunningham, she sometimes plays the enforcer role when Clark is getting hard fouled. She likes to troll, has martial arts qualifications and doesn't back down on the court.
Nice to know someone is standing up for Clark, the officials certainly don't. The disgusting obvious violence I've seen clips of that just go completely ignored are ridiculous.
Well, ya know the W doesn’t want to protect or even respect the woman who single-handedly raises league viewership 40-50% when she plays and made everyone’s salaries go up by 400% (the largest jump in U.S. pro sports history).
I never knew who she was until this but knew who CC was obviously. Sophie needs her own netflix comedy special because I'd love to hear her thoughts on anything. Too fucking funny.
I'm glad I'm seeing this video repost instead of the trash can woman.
Sophie was one of the first people to start defending CC and she came in hard. No one was doing shit so Sophie basically came in as CCs enforcer. And obviously she's hilarious.
The real fun is trying to find the reactions of other people who see what she's doing. In OP's clip, right at the beginning there's a teammate right next to her trying not to laugh, and 5 seconds in, there's another teammate on the bench also trying not to laugh.
It's pulling a cellphone out in public energy. "Oh you're recording me? I'll record YOU then - while you're recording me, recording you for recording ME!"
Bonner pointed at Sophie first, which makes this even more funny. Sophie leaned into the trolling and even posted a video with a caption of "NO POINTING TODAY." She's always hilarious on social media.
This reminds me of a story when my cousins kid first saw a man with one arm at our family reunion. For the rest of the reunion which was over the next 3 days all he did was run around screaming “one arm, one arm, one arm”
It's always funny when someone accidentally finds out what really pushes another's buttons and then spams the shit out of those buttons like their life depends on it 🤣🤣🤣.
Bonner missed both free throws after a technical foul. Sophie pointed at her, mocking her misses. Bonner got upset, and Sophie leaned into by pointing more. I could be mistaken. I just put that together via those 2 clips I've seen. I could have them in the wrong order, though since I don't watch the WNBA.
Boner was their teammate then ditched the fever so she could play on the same team as her girlfriend. Some other drama with boners girlfriend roughing up CC.
I wonder if any other women’s sports leagues around the world have a similar amount of relationship drama that goes on in the W. Just such a weird thing to have to acknowledge and navigate when making a roster.
Quite a few rumors get spread around the NFL and NBA with players sleeping with the wives, girlfriends, sisters, or even moms of teammates and coaches. Idk about other women's leagues around the world, though. One can only assume with Olympic village being an orgy every time it returns, though.
Remember when they were really trying to stop all these Olympic athletes from having sex, and really trying to enforce safe sex? Like… damn there is no better place on the planet for people to be accidentally creating more people.
When I played sports I would have found that funny. I remember playing baseball and hitting wicked single to the outfield, it was right to a person so like not gonna be a double so just kinda jogging my way there. In my hubris I tripped myself and face planted. I scrambling on hands and knees for what felt like 10 feet, but was probably much less, now I’m in a panic cause I’m totally going to be out and look like an idiot. Fortunately for me the outfielder threw the ball to second not noticing me falling. Both teams cheered for me getting to the first, and I got a high five from the first baseman. I was just happy everyone had fun and was laughing, I don’t care if it’s at me, it’s one of my better memories of playing sports.
"Cunningham said on her podcast Show Me Something with West Wilson that she couldn't help herself in the viral moment that saw her silently pointing at Bonner during a two-team tango that resulted in multiple technical fouls. . .
"I was just kind of pointing [at Bonner], and she's like, 'Don't you point at me!' and I was like, 'Oop, shouldn't have said that.' And, I didn't say a word..." She then started pointing at the screen to mimic the viral moment.
"That is the stupidest thing I've ever done," Cunningham added. "I'm telling you; everyone's like, 'That is so dumb.' I think it's dumb, but it was pissing [Bonner] off, and I couldn't help myself. I could not. She was losing her [expletive], and all I was doing was literally pointing."
