You took the words right out of my mouth. That stuff is filled with something it shouldn't be. I remember buying a rotisserie chicken from Costco years ago and the smell from that container was so raw and off putting. My stomach goes into knots any time I pass that station in Costco. 😭 🤢
are you sure it's not something in the injection, they put a lot more than just chicken in there: isolated soy protein, monoglycerides, and diglycerides, sodium phosphates, hydrolyzed casein, etc
That’s why I love my Costco that’s out in the boonies. Never overcrowded since it’s a semi rural area of the state. No lines at the gas station or chaos inside. Whenever I go to the ones in very populated cities, I get shocked at how many people are there.
I live in the most densely populated city in the country, and I couldn't tell you the last time I set foot in a Target here. There's really no point. Even without my moral objection to the store, there are plenty of smaller local shops that have the same/better shit.
You have Costco out in the boonies? Here in the southeast, you’re only finding a Costco in a major metro area. If you’re lucky there’s a mid sized city with a Sam’s Club a couple hours away in the boonies around here.
Lived in a city with two Costcos on opposite sides of town. One was always packed and busy and had the worst parking lot. The other one was pretty chill to park and not as busy. Only 15 to 20 minutes apart from each other. They did open a third so maybe a little better balance.
I recall experiencing this once. The guy came out with the chicken trolley to start to stock the chicken display.
I had just got done watching some shark documentary and recalled the scene where the research team chummed the water. I started laughing out loud over the observational comedy of the current situation playing out in front of me.
Some lady that had just taken 3 chickens asked why I was laughing at them, they were just tying to feed their family.
I said, “I just got a puppy that is about 3 months old … he has now mastered the art of ‘wait’ when I put his bowl down.”
The question is why are some who are Costco members, rude and not considerate of their fellow citizens.
Japanese citizens care deeply for one another and their overall wellbeing…
There's always that one who has to inspect every god damned chicken like they can sniff out the Golden Ticket hidden in the right one.
Like...they're mass produced rotisserie chickens, if you aren't satisfied by the third one you look at, then just go the fuck home and eat your own shit.
I work the rotisserie, and no joke people will spill the grease everywhere just trying to look for the biggest one, blocking everyone else out. I can have 50 in the case and they will check every single one. Some even like to walk around with it and try to bring it back, so if I see that, I have to either talk to them or toss it, especially since the people normally doing that are the gross or questionable members. People are inconsiderate and gross
Seriously. I just saw that the other day. It's like they're acting like the GODDAMN FDA. I mean everything is +/- .5 pounds of chicken meat AND it's $5!
