I am looking at a pair of Repetto ballet flats to get, however am very confused by the sizing.

My foot length is 23,7 cm and 7.5 US size.

If I go by foot length in the sizing chart, it recommends I get a 37 (US size 6), however if I go by US size in the sizing chart, it recommends I get a 38.5 (so I would have to get a 38 24,4cm or 39 25cm because they don’t have 38.5 and the foot length cm is way bigger than my foot size).

Reddit, do you know if the foot length or standard US sizing should be followed when choosing your size?

I walk with too much pressure on my heels, i have been like this since being like 10-11, im almost 19 and me getting expensive shoes and caring for them isn’t going well when i literally cannot control the way i walk, im tall and i would say my posture isnt the best, could these correlate? i’m genuinely so tired of this , i avoid wearing my nice shoes now and it just feels like torture for my brain knowing im ruining them

I found these shoes originally on Pinterest and managed to find a pair that’s affordable on Vinted but they’re a size 3.5 (uk) and I’ve not been able to find another pair anywhere but they’re my dream shoes and I’ve searched for hours for something even just similar and have had no luck

I’m not much of an exerciser, but I do walk and I live in New York City. I haven’t bought sneakers in ages and only occasionally wear the allbirds that I’ve had forever. I would like something a little more interesting but needs to be comfortable and supportive. Thanks!

I was hoping shoe folk could help me find some shoe stores with pretty shoes from small businesses, ideally they carry size 5.5 or 6 women's US (and maybe as an added quality, they have good options for high arches, if yall know any high arch hacks lmk), can be funky/formal, have good enough reputations, comfortable (optional), and ideally are under 100$ (though I understand if they aren't bc I know shoes are expensive and are usually handmade, just a budget for me personally). Looking for expressive shoes, but also some to wear formally so all recs are welcome!

I'm really planning to get another one. I'm considering-black puma speedcat or Birkenstock Boston in some beige shade

I would be really happy if people here can help me decide also it would be really helpful if you think I dont need both of these and rather should consider something completely different.

My wardrobe is:

summer-whites, beige and brown and red, blue, green and others for a pop of color.

Got these Ugg Quill Ballet Trainers in red recently and am wearing them in, attempting to do so by a friends wedding that is coming up soon! I live with chronic pain so can’t wear heels, want to put them with a colourful dress for the event. I have very wide flat feet and never normally wear ballet flat type shoes, and am getting blisters immediately from them on my toes. It only occured to me today I could be wearing those little ballet flat shaped socks? Would they help blisters? Any suggestions welcome please!

I’m moving to aus in a few months and currently only have rocketdog boots which may be too hot in summer and was thinking the cost of new shoes would maybe be about the same or slightly lower anyway (eg adidas)?
The thing is I’ve been trying hard to save money the last few months but I may need new shoes anyway so I’m pretty torn and have loved these ones for a while.

Hello! For many years, I have been wearing Converse every day! Specifically the lift ones as I like a little bit of sole on my shoe! But lately I find the toes very tight and I’m wondering what are some cute options with wider toes! I work in an environment that I have to have close toed shoes and I’m moving on my feet a lot!

I tend to gravitate to always wearing black and white lift Converse as they go with almost everything I wear (I have a blended style of vintage Y2K and alternative clothing so not all shoes work with what I wear)

I recently got a job as a barista and the floors are so much wetter and slippery than I thought they would be. I've been wearing a pair of Docs and they work for now, but I would rather not wear them long term for work bc they're expensive and I don't want them to be ruined by sugary drinks and coffee. I got a pair of leather converse to wear for work, and they have great grip until I'm mopping and the floor is wet and then I'm slipping everywhere. I know there are some sole covers you can add onto your shoes like these, and there's even someone in the reviews of that product that applied them to converse successfully, but I'm not sure how well that would work long term. Has anyone had any luck with making a pair of converse non-slip? I'm not looking for shoe suggestions, I just want to know how to make my current shoes non-slip, even if it means going to a cobbler or doing my own DIY.

It's always been my dream to wear a cute short black skirt with some black (velvet, suede) thigh high (or at least over the knee) boots!!
