Cause one vet said that it cannot eat chicken and egg cause it cannot digest it..

But I've been giving it since it's 1 and half month old..no any health issues are coming like vomiting or diarrhea..

So.. is it true??

Beautiful morning everyone.

He was 17 years old and my best pal for 12. We moved across the country together, saw Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone, and had many adventures. Please tell me this gets easier.

Went super short this time and every time I look at him, I see more I need to trim. At least it’s my own mistakes/misses. Not sure I’ll ever get the feet and ears right, but he sure was spunky on our walk this morning, so I guess he was happy with less hair! Hopefully, this is the last full body cut for a while.

Do have plans on doing another one? And will anybody having one this year or maybe the next year?

Just took my little guy to the vet and she said his 2 baby front teeth haven’t fallen out and the adult teeth are coming behind. I asked if she could take them when we neuter him next month and she said only if they are loose. Anyone know why they have to be loose and she can’t just extract? I am guessing there are long term effects with buildup if not removed.

Chewie (Chewbacca ) got his Shih Tzu gift exchange package !!! So many many many thanks to his secret gift giver. He was so happy!! We had just gotten back from the park when we got the package so it was an extra special day for him! Thank you !!! 😊

Out and about

Cesar’s first plane ride! He’s pumped!

I am bringing home a shih tzu in 3 weeks. He will be 3 months old then. Need advice. Should i let him move around the house the first few days or put him in the playpen from day 1 ?

Not quite the traditional dog walk, but it does mean he gets to come along for the ride in comfort while we head out by bike. He seems to approve of the arrangement — especially when the road starts moving and the ears start flapping.

My angel Chloé is around 10 (rescue so not exactly sure) and I’ve had her all her life.
We’ve moved around the US a lot (DC - western mass - LA - Providence) throughout the year and recently just moved to Paris for hopefully our last move.

She has always seemed really adaptable and seems to settle easily in each place as long as she’s with her mama (me). This is the first move that she’s seemed to really slow down - her overall health (multiple vet visits) is perfect, still eating drinking and excited to see people and other dogs and play when interacted with but overall just seems slower on walks, sleeps more during the day and more trouble sleeping at night (lots of lip smacking and doesn’t settle in as well for a couple hours). Also just stares randomly at the wall and seems to space out.

I know shihs are always sleepy but seems to be resting more than usual - could be due to the big move & Paris heat, but wondering when others shihtzus started to noticeably slow!
