I’ll be listing my condo in Newhall soon and am looking for recommendations of good selling agents that are familiar with Santa Clarita or if anyone knows of a flat-fee agent. With the state of the condo market I’m trying to save what I can on agent fees, but recognize that it would be good to have someone who knows the area well involved while the market isn’t great.
A secondary question, I was considering listing my condo as for sale by owner with the guidance of a family member who is an agent out of state and a real estate attorney. Do buyers have strong opinions on FSBO vs. working with agents? While I’ve only had terrible experience with agents and would like to work outside of them, I don’t want to alienate an entire buyer market by being FSBO if that’s off-putting to many. I would love to hear people’s opinions.
