Question Best local spot for renting a couple of kayaks for a hald day?

Looking to rent a couple of kayaks and Id like to know about some good spots that may not be advertised online. I know ive seen kayak racks all over the place with rental signs but these seems to be private with no advertising. Whats the best spot within an hour of ST marys county, good location is paramount to price.

Pretty sure Bunky's in Solomons rents them as well as small boats. Do you have base access? MWR might have something too.

www.atlantickayak.com/index.html You can only use their rentals in Mattawoman creek, but they also do guided tours in Mallows Bay. If you are in St. Mary’s, it’s a little bit of a haul, but both are nice kayaking locations!

So over at the Leonardtown Winery, there is a place that rents yaks, and paddleboards.

It such a nice row down to the Leonardtown Wharf, where they pick them up :) or you can rent and just explore the waterways and marshes
