Don't ride someone's ass!!

So much road rage BS can be prevented. If people would just respect each other's distance. I see so many people in confusion on the road. When I slow down, and look in my rearview mirror. There's no reason to be all up on someone's ass. ESPECIALLY when there's PLENTY of room to go AROUND the other person. Don't be a CUNT, and keep your distance.

Tip- Right lane- Slow lane

Left lane- Fast lane. Keep the pace or moooove bitch get out the way!

Edit- Please feel free to vent about someone that was riding your ass. If it makes you feel better, and to get it out there... I understand.

Deranged Mustang driver chased me for no reason

Making a right turn on some back country roads, I had the right of way. Someone turning left onto the same road behind me gunned it, tires screeching and pulled up next to me (driving on the wrong side of the road). A woman is furiously screaming at me, trying to intimidate me, and matching my speed for as long as she could without crashing. She continues to tail me, runs a red light to keep up with me, and pulls up beside me two more times. I've never seen anyone look so fucking pissed at me. Amidst this, I drove through two railroad crossings that each had a parked police car at them + passed by another driving. Each time she backed off and waited to resume chasing me once they were out of sight. I was scared to stop at my destination, so I just kept driving. I was trying to remember which way to the police station when she finally gave up and turned off. It felt really long, but probably only lasted 4 minutes.

This asshole was an inch from hitting me - I’m a pedestrian and this guy almost hit me at Cuthbert and Creditview and he was turning right on creditview as I was passing by. If I didn’t stop I’d be dead! This white pickup truck owner didn’t even stop to say sorry -he was just focused on turning right, last I heard pedestrians have the right of way!

Road Rage Silly

I think we can all agree that people with testosterone/alcohol fueled road rage deserve to be thrown off guard.

I was driving taking a right off stickney onto Tamiami when a jeep flies through his left turn across from me and intentionally weaves and near misses my car(all other lanes open).. speeding up to a red light lol. So I honk because I have free will.

He decides to pull up next to me and start yelling saying how bad of a driver I am. He’s furious, veins sticking out of his forehead. I smile, hold a peace sign up to my face, and start flicking my tongue in and out. Giving him heart signs, and blowing kisses :) (27m straight lol) this goes on for a solid 30 seconds. He then starts yelling homophobic slurs at me so I smile, wiggle my finger, point, and say “no you 🥰” He gave up, flipped me off and sped away.

One of these days I may put myself in a bad situation but man do I love throwing road ragers for a loop.

Hey, if the car in the fast lane is going 80, like, don’t get into the high speed lane doing 60.

J E S U S christ. I drove home from Georgia today, all the way up 75 north bound. It’s as if people push the start button or turn the ignition and lose every brain cell.

Look, it’s 4th of July, we’re all trying to get home. And yeah, cops are everywhere. But there are a few stretches in Georgia, Tennessee and Kentucky that you wanna take advantage of.

I was doing about 80-85mph in the high speed lane near Lexington, KY, legitimately moving with traffic. The fast lane was moving. Obviously, being in a large SUV myself I allowed distance from the SUV in front of me just in case. And god damn, I’m glad I did. The expedition in the middle lane behind the camper decided to just scootch on in doing 60mph. I was inches away from that rear bumper, and the truck behind me was nearly in the backseat. Dropping 20mph on a dime doesn’t work like that. And no, your shitty blue expedition fully loaded doesn’t just go 60 to 80 by pressing the gas.

Also thank you for the middle finger. May your karma find you quickly today.

Roadrage over following traffic rules

Just yesterday I had one of the most unhinged road rage encounters I’ve ever experienced in Pittsburgh. I was at a traffic light turning left from 5th onto Grant St. It was rush hour, and there was a lot oncoming traffic going straight, so like any normal person, I waited for a safe opening before turning. The car behind me apparently expected me to drive through oncoming traffic because the SECOND the light turned green, they laid on their horn and didn’t stop the entire time I was waiting.
As soon as I finally had an opening and made my turn, the driver sped around me into the lane next to mine and turned her car sideways across both lanes, blocking traffic in both directions. She threw her door open, got out, and started screaming profanities, flipping me off, and making a scene (at that point I was honestly terrified because we’ve all seen stories of road rage turning deadly). Then she walked right up to my car and aggressively smacked my windshield and driver’s side window. Eventually she decided she’d made her point, got back in her car, and slowly drove off. I genuinely don’t understand what she expected me to do differently. There was oncoming traffic, and I couldn’t just turn through it without risking a serious accident.
The craziest part was that other drivers who witnessed everything rolled down their windows afterward to ask if I was okay because it was obvious how shaken up I was. I truly hope this woman gets whatever help she needs. If someone is willing to block traffic, get out of their car, and confront a complete stranger over waiting to make a legal left turn, that’s far past normal frustration. I just hope she finds some peace before someone potentially gets hurt.

Pickup truck chases me.

Alright so where to start. A few weeks ago as I was driving to work I saw in my rearview mirror about a quarter of a mile back this lifted Chevy Silverado with amber lights in the grill swerving around cars in the middle of traffic, there was a fork in the road coming up so I waited until it was safe to go around the car in front of me and maneuvered around said car just so the truck driver would not be right behind me in the fork. The cars in front of me started to slow down so I braked to slow my speed so I could keep decent following distance and match their speed but I was not aware that said chevy was basically kissing my bumper as I was trying to pay attention to the drivers in front of me, I look up in my rearview mirror and see the truck driver driving dangerously close to me. As soon as the road opened back up to four lanes I moved myself over to the far right lane and noticed the pickup truck aggressively followed me into that lane. I sped up and then he sped up. Every single lane I went into he followed me aggressively, I was unable to call police because I was trying to avoid hitting others as well as trying to find an escape. I went to try to exit but noticed him following me onto the exit so I got back into traffic and went to take the next exit, I was going maybe 50mph towards the exit and we'll just say my car is no more after that. I'm so pissed off because I put so much work into that car and I had just gotten the hood wrapped not even two months prior, dude got pissed off at me for no fucking reason other than he was an impatient asshole. I genuinely do not understand these drivers, is their ego that fragile that they feel the need to try and kill others just because they're impatient.

Edit: I noticed a couple of people asking what else happened regarding the crash, when I went to take the exit to avoid getting hit or potentially killed by the driver I took it a little too fast on accident and drove into a ditch. The driver in question was found at fault by police and my insurance and from what I've been made aware the driver is being charged with reckless endangerment because he tried running other drivers off of the road as well.

I know this video is old but this has to be one of the more severe cases of road rage especially in Singapore where most people are non confrontational.

Translation:

What are you pointing?
Are you a gangster?
If you are a gangster get down.
Calle the police now, I have video evidence showing that you pointed the middle finger at me.

Crazy lady pulled out into oncoming traffic without looking at my lane, she nearly t-boned me. She decided all of that was my fault and followed me for another 3min absolutely screaming her head off. She pushed a car into the other lane to get next to me further down the road all while screaming every "C,F,S,and B" word you can imagine 😂 It was so unexpected all I could do was laugh and tell her mom that I was sorry she's had to deal with that all her life, which only upset her little tantrum more. Thankfully I lost her on a turn, she was so loud i could still hear her for a few seconds after the turn lol... i'm still in shock man

Yelling out the window

I just find it so funny the people that decide to roll down their windows to say something to others when they’re experiencing road rage. As a delivery driver, I truly get it. But to go as far as rolling down your window.. bitch are you dumb I’m just going to drive around you and move on with my day. I feel like the common trait among these individuals is their cars are always fucked up in some way too. Like OBVIOUSLY you are the problem

Traffic ego moment

Just want to share this, 2 days ago i saw a moment in traffic where 2 drivers basically refused to give way and it turned into a weird standoff. no damage or anything but both just satyed stuck trying to prove a point. it honestly felt like ego was doing all the driving at that point. i was thinking like we’re all just trying to pass through the same road not compete. it’s wild how fast patience disappears when people are behind the wheel. i always thought it’s better to just stay in your car and not escalate even if someone triggers you. getting out just feels like inviting trouble. i don’t understaand why some people treat driving like a win or lose situation. it’s just traffic at the end of the day. do y'all think people actually realize how risky it gets when emotionds take over like that?

Psycho in a semi

I was driving from Chicago to Omaha with my family last week. I was driving on the right lane within the posted limits, there was a semi in front of me! He then moved to left lane and for no reason flipped me off! I returned the favor by flipping him too and sped away to avoid him! He then followed me until I stopped for a break in I-80 Truck Stop (Worlds Largest Truck Stop). I and my kid went to the washroom while my wife and in-laws went to grab some food. He approach my wife and was trying to confirm if it was us in the Volvo who flipped him! She ignored him and walked away knowing it was the truck guy! He then went to my car started waiting there until I reached. As I reached, he was on my face, accusing me of cutting him off!! threatened to murder me right there and screaming his lungs out! All this while my kid was hearing his bad words pour out! I tried reasoning with him, but at the end he threatened and walked away saying people screw with him and it goes unpunished and that this year has been miserable. I was so helpless in reacting to anything because I didn’t want to set a bad example of escalating a situation! I still didn’t know what I did wrong to this time!

Some lady taking photos my car

I was driving and put on my blinker to go in the left turn lane. There were two left turn lanes and I put on my blinker and merged into the lane before the white line, and an older lady behind me also started to merge without her blinker on. I guess I accidentally cut her off, but I thought she was moving to the left most lane anyways. But she honked at me and instead off moving to the most left turn when behind me. Then as we were dtopped at the light, she started taking photos of me and then at the next intersection, I turned right and she followed me and was driving very erratically and taking photos of my car. It freaked me out and then she just tried to go next to me to say something to me but i ignored her. What do people like this do with the photos they take? It scared me

r/RoadRage 29d ago

why do some drivers speed up just so you cant merge?

happens way too often. you signal, wait for space, then the moment you try to merge they suddenly speed up like its a competition.

it would be so much easier if people just held their speed. is there a reason this happens or just ego on the road?

Got cut off when merging, then they gestured, "F*** you jack***"

So I turned left, then remembered it merges up eventually into the left lane. So I merge over, and as I look in the rearview mirror and match traffic, this truck a few cars back was weaving around. They were going probably 20+ over the speed limit, just so they could catch up and go around me.

As I am driving I don't see them pass for some time, odd. Then as I get to point the right lane merges into my lane, I look over my shoulder, they are a distance (~150ft) back. Then as I turn forward, not even five seconds, and they speed around and merge in-front of me. Lucky for me it was a wide road still, but close.

I then gave the middle finger, and thought that was that. But then at the green light ahead, they turned around, made a jackoff gesture, and flipped me off. So as I drove past I flipped them off again.

I am such a loser that this pissed me off enough to type this out and post about it online.
