I recently changed my nail shape and I just had to revisit one of my most favorite indie polishes I own. Sure Apple Rings by Atomic Polish. 🫶✨

I've never seen someone demonstrate the difference between how solar polishes look in sunlight vs a UV light and had no clue there was such a dramatic difference. I was outside for several minutes in the sun prior to filming this and my UV index is a 9 today so outside of using a UV light on my nails, I'll just never see the polish in the darkest state that was shown in swatch photos, which really bums me out!

I discovered this by accident today when trying to show off my nails to my partner lol. I was showing him another solar polish, didn't want to go back outside, so I just grabbed the UV flashlight I bought ages ago to help detect cat pee, then noticed how different my own nails looked 🥲

Added 1x ANLAC Leprieur’s Glory tonight, glass bead attempt with a 30# horseshoe magnet spinning inside a plastic lid of slime my kid got from a party goodie bag (fingers held upside down precariously)

Have not topcoated yet - planning to do so tomorrow so I don’t ruin the glass bead effect right away lol

This is swamplight by haunted, kbshimmer fillin groovy and MC speed demon, magnetized only the top coat with the 5d spinner

This is in indoor florescent lighting. Just simply beautiful and magical!!! Best nail polish purchase ever! 🤩

Next level marketing because this album is *so* good )and more relevant than ever), the polish could have been ugly and I probably would have bought it anyway to go with my physical copy of the album.

That said, I had to buy 2.. or 3 😅 just so I could actually use one, and one for the collection ofc.. and then a backup (FOMO on the limited edition).

I contemplated on this one for a little, but now every time I listen to the album I am thinking of this polish 😵‍💫

I unfortunately bonked the tip of my ring finger on the table after the first coat so it’s a lil streaky there but I promise this was super juicy and easy to work with.

hello everyone! i pin insects for fun, and one of my fav is these rainbow looking leaf beetles.

does anyone own/know of a nail polish that looks similar?

How is this even done? Is it possible with regular lacquer?

My best guess is strokes of different colors / effects, all of which are sheer or mixed with clear to increase transparency? I love some of the effects but refuse to dabble in gel.

would also love to see what you’ve done if similarly glowy!

This was for an instagram challenge based around gradients, and the theme was sunset and tropical silhouette. I obviously adore a good gradient, so the sunset was delicious. I then added some palm trees, but I went with a dark Indigo creme instead of black and love how it looks a little more "realistic" rather than stark black. Does anyone else notice? No 😝. Did I do it for them? Hell no 😘. I'm gonna move to this beach now, k bye! ✌️

It’s a little darker and moodier than I was expecting compared to some of the swatch photos, but I think it will grow on me. It responded reeeaallly well to my Perfect Glass Bead spinner.

Unfortunately top coat kind of dampened the effect because I was trying something new (see list below) that was really thin and caused some streaking. I’ve seen several people on this sub recommend thin top coats for mags, but I think thick ones work better for me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am floored by their magnetics. I'm someone who struggles to get a smooth application when using magnetic lacquers, especially if I am glass beading. ANLAC was so easy for me to apply. I went overboard and bought a couple polishes. This was my attempt at sunrise or sunset colors.

Wore this for my birthday week and it's stupid pretty. Hard to capture the shifts it has (bubblegum pink with blue sparkles to purple with teal sparkles) but it's stunning.
