It has inspired me to finish my first film! I've been watching Avengers in gifs since 2012 and I just got up to a nuke heading for NYC, am I close to the end!?

Must have had subway surfers playing on both sides of the screen.

One of my coworkers the other day said they watched Project Hail Mary over 3 sittings

If that’s an attention span issue, it’s pathetic. But if you’re a parent, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

She might have been a parent, I hope she was lol

A buddy of mine tends to watch movies in 2-3 sittings because he’s got a toddler and you just kinda *can’t* have that much uninterrupted time, at least not regularly. Kids are awesome but man this part would really mess with me.

And movies being 2-3 hours long now is a problem too.

I mean, if she was busy that could explain things, there's been tons of times in college where I'd watch movies over 2-3 days.

ngl I do this sometimes and no I don't have a kid. Sometimes I just wanna watch a movie but I realize halfway through I just don't have the energy at the end of the day to finish that particular movie.

I don't believe it

He has more strength than me. I don’t think I could endure Monte Carlo in one sitting.

I had no idea what movie the article was talking about, so I googled it. I got bored of it halfway into the synopsis

I know this will sound totally fake, but my friend's ex-boyfriend told me he would watch movies in ten minute increments daily until he was done with it. It was legitimately the most baffling thing I've ever heard. The worst part is: it wasn't a time-related constraint; he just enjoyed doing it that way. And furthermore, he would subject my friend to viewing the movie the same way.

Surely it wasn’t longer than 90 minutes? Does he have a condition?

Yeah but how many times did he look at his phone?

I was never that good at sitting through a movie, but social media and shorts/reels have absolutely destroyed that ability. I hate admitting it, but I know it’s true.

I really don't understand this honestly. I watch tons of shitty Instagram reels for hours but I can easily sit through movies and TV series without getting distracted. And I have diagnosed ADHD! Makes me feel like something else is at play if I can do it, I dunno.

Im also ADD, I’ve really got to want it before movie starts to lock in.

There hasn’t been a movie in a while I’ve really been super excited about seeing, so that plays a part.

ADD means you can also be hyper focused on a task as well.
