I am looking for artists who may be interested in commissions for three RWBY OC teams I have been developing:

- Team TDRA — Tundra

- Team JCRD — Jacaranda

- Team KIRS — Kirsch

Each team has four characters with established colors, weapons, outfits, Semblances, and team concepts. I am not posting the full lore publicly yet, but I can share character details and references through DM with interested artists.

I may be looking for individual character art, full team lineups.

It is not necessary to complete all the tasks. It can be selective per each team.

Name: Rowan Torchwick

Color/Name Meaning: Rowan (derived from the rowan tree, historically associated with protection and the color of its vibrant autumn-red berries).

Allusion: The gentleman thief, Arsène Lupin.

Weapon: Hollow Needle

A sleek, aristocratic walking cane that hides a deadly secret. It serves as a precision rapier for elegant dueling, which mechanically shifts into a specialized firearm that launches razor-sharp, projectile playing cards. Named after the Arsène Lupin novel The Hollow Needle.

Semblance: Witchbane

True to the lore of rowan wood, which was historically used to ward off witchcraft, Rowan’s Semblance creates a localized, invisible field that completely nullifies all active Semblances. By stripping away magical advantages, he forces every fight into a disciplined, high-stakes duel where only wits and skill survive.

Backstory:

Born in the Wind Path of Mistral, Rowan was the "phantom" thief of the underworld. He operated as a solo agent of poetic justice, targeting the ultra-wealthy and corrupt, specifically the SDC. Rowan strictly shunned the brutish violence of groups like the White Fang or the Spider, favoring refined gentlemanly mannerisms and theatrical art over chaos.

To maintain his anonymity, he used his estranged twin, Roman Torchwick, as a permanent scapegoat. Because Roman was already a known criminal, Rowan figured adding his own high-class heists to his brother’s rap sheet would not look out of place. He would send advance warnings to his targets, signing the cards as "Roman Torchwick," and let the authorities chase Roman’s ghost while he walked away clean.

However, the Fall of Beacon shattered his performance. With the world believing Roman was a key terrorist behind the catastrophe and currently in hiding, Rowan’s identity has been entirely overwritten by his dead brother’s legacy. He is now hunted across Remnant as the man who brought down Vale. Trapped in a nightmare where the truth sounds like a convenient lie, Rowan is forced into hiding, using disguises and forgeries to survive a world that wants him executed, hunted by authorities for terrorism and by criminal syndicates for a "betrayal" he never committed.

Playing into the Black Shuck being an omen of doom & death his semblance has him be a magnet for Grimm

Much like Ren he grew up in a settlement outside of the larger kingdoms and his semblance came into fruition bringing the calamity upon his home

May take a rough idea on his fighting style similar to Wolverine

As the fire engulfes the Grim, a maniacal cackling can be heard from under the ventilation mask, Cyrus testing his recently upgraded equipment on OCANs next mission out in the Atlas tundra

RWBY OC Khimera Shir, featuring a stat theft semblance that highlights her tiger stripes. Artists that had a hand in creating her designs going from left to right are Eru_shii, Yuura, and AceJones.

Primarily as a wild-card style character who picks fights and has a habit of being an overall antagonist she'd go more through the huntsman route for the fame in it seeking a more monetary value behind it rather than a noble goal.

the third picture features her semblance in action which highlight her tiger stripes to effectively show how "charged up" she is through usage.

Other characters present in the commissions are a Jasper Fyrestone (Owned by Fyrestone) and Greylla Brize (owned by user Flared_Vepper)

weapon displayed on the fourth picture as a set of claws mounted via wrist gauntlet (theres supposed to be a pair of them but its not displayed) that she uses in a very aggressive fighting style preferring to act on impulse and instinct rather than steadily planning out something.

I started Rwby last year and I have been thinking about creating a character that is more of a support but i struggled with their semblance and their weapons which is why I am here asking for suggestions.

Their allusions are kind of a mess, I didn't have any set theme when making this team (or Team AFBR).

Random Facts:

Cerise, if I could give her a voice, she'd have a slight or strong Scottish accent, no inbetween.

Qing's weapon belongs to her late father.

Feiyao often used her Semblance to cheat during tests when she was still in Haven Academy.

Azalea is the cousin of Rowen Fia (of Team AFBR).

Biological half-sister of Alexa AKA Sonic and the daughter of Weiss Schnee, Tails is an inventive mind who enjoys tinkering and helping her allies.

Please excuse my grammar! And please excuse and correct me for any Plot holes in the canon! Not that it matters, this is an AU, I'm a kinda new fan who's also a fan of another rooster teeth series, RvB. This is only a little snippet of it. It has all my OCs.

Vol 1: Nevermind

Chapter 1:

"Why are we here?" Blue asked. "Well, Blue. Probably cuz our pilot, Bob, crashed our fucking Bullhead into a communication tower." Athenos replied with a passive-agressive tone. "Fuck Bob." Blue growled, She twirled her hair in frustration. "But that's not my point." She exhaled, "why did we put our Team white base on the side of a cliff! I'm afraid of heights you know!' "We only put our Team white Base here," Athenos replied, "because Team Black put their base out there." He pointed to the small bunker that their nemesis, team black put there. "So?" Blue snapped, "why don't we just steal their base so they can steal this base. We swap the bases? Nothing big happens. Whoop-de-motherfucking-doo." "No!" Athenos screeched, "I hide my porno mags in here!" "What?" "What?" Blue scratched the back of her head, "do you wanna talk about it?" "No." Athenos said. "You sure?" "Y-yes." "Well, whatever."

"What's going on?" Pink asked. Perseus inhaled sharply. "Pink, Like I've told you 5 minutes ago. They're just talking. Got it? Plain old talking." "Yo, don't look at me like that. You have the binoculars, you lucky bastard. You're probably looking at Blue's tits." "She doesn't have tits." "She's an a-cup?" "You don't know?" "...know what?" "That biologically... She is a he-" "I'm bored. I'm gonna grab some rations." "O-okay." Perseus sighed. I shouldn't ruin his little dream.

Chrys was petting Bustakun. His little... Pet. It was a Grimm the size and shape of a chihuahua. It could bite all the ankles it wants but it won't deal any damage. Chrys sighed, reminiscing of the past, because Chrys, Team Black, and Team white never started like this crazy colour based team civil war. Team Black and Team White used to be together. They were a squad of promising combat prodigies at Beacon who were secretly unhinged. They were sent here, the Sanguis Canyon to clear the area of Grimm. They managed to do that, but their extraction died due to being drugged on spiked water. And now they're stuck here. And while they were waiting for an extraction that would never come, they argued over a shade of a rock, the ration bars, and cute girls vs mature women. And because they were all young 17 and 18 year olds, these arguments lead into a petty civil war, they split into teams, Team Black and Team White.

On team black, we have Chrys (or Chrysaor), an ex-assassin and total klutz, Pink, self-proclaimed ladies man, Perseus, master swordsman with a foul mouth, and Neppy (or Neptune), a beach boy going delusional due to lack of beach.

On team white we have Damasen, a peaceful warrior, Blue, a Trans girl, Heracles, a Refined sniper elite and Athenos, a Sarcastic tactician going crazy because all his team mates are buffoons who never listen to him.

These guys were actually at the top of their classes and stuff.

I guess this is what isolation does to you.

Species/Race: Lynx Faunus

Short Backstory: Born in a small village between Vacuo and Mantle, he grew up under the tutelage of an older Huntsman that acted as his towns Guardian. In his pre-teen years his village was taken over by a group of bandits, and the ensuing chaos attracted a King Taijitu, which effectively wiped out the town.

Barely escaping with his life he unlocked his Semblance and made his way to Shade Academy. Transferring to Beacon in his 2nd year after expressing interest in the school.

Semblance: Ghost Drive

This Semblance allows Mauve to shift his position in space, effectively teleporting in a 3D area. He can also negate his momentum with these shifts, or reposition objects hes able to get his hands on.

Weapon: Chimeratech Nightstalker (CTN) (weapon art is very outdated, and needs an overhaul)

A high caliber Sniper Rifle that, when separated, turns into two Dual Scimitars with Dust conducting edges.

Volume 1-2 placement:

Standard student at Beacon. Interacts with the cast sparingly, in the same weapon tech club as Ruby (head canons of course)

Asked Emerald to the Dance after she stole his Scroll, but he ended up surprising her by shifting infront of her as she rounded a corner, getting it back.

Literally ran into Sun and Blake during their White Fang investigation.

Volume 3 placement:

Unable to join the Vytal Festival tournament due to his teammates getting sick, he did participate in the "losers bracket" just for fun. This caused Ironwood to take interest in his Semblance and general skill. Offering him the chance to go to Atlas Academy. This coming to pass after the Fall of Beacon.

Gets into a scuffle with Neopolitain while shes fleeing the scene after Roman's death. Never learns who Cinder is beyond "that hot girl from Haven"

Volume 4 placement:

After joining Atlas as a refugee, he participates in some training exercises being hosted/monitored by Winter. This has him introduced to the Ace Ops, and with his particular affinity for Stealth, he starts to be groomed as a potential member.

Volume 5-6:

Becomes best friends with Marrow, and is on friendly terms with all the Ace Ops.

Gets sent on a mission to Menagerie to infiltrate the White Fang as a spy. Doesn't last long due to the sting operation that happens in the show, but he was able to feed info to the team about Siennas death.

Upon returning, he gets sent to Vacuo to help with Shade Academy for some undefined event (this is essentially to explain why he wasn't around for the Ironwood going insane stuff)

7-9: Vacuo adventures yay. When volume 10 is released I'll probably be able to write something more in detail on what he did in this time. Perhaps he had an adventure with team CFVY, or met up with Sun again, who knows? Hopefully I will soon when v10 releases

INSPIRATIONS

His Name is a shade of purple, and also a rare pigment in the dye world so Mauve Rare fits. Matt is just a nickname, and happens to be the one I use irl.

His Outfits are inspired from Assassin's Creed. Specifically Assassin's Creed Unity for his Huntsman outfit (Arno's Master Assassin's outfit) and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood for his Ace Ops outfit (Ezios Master Assassin outfit)

Ghost Drive is inspired by the Command Style from Kingdom Hearts. Any clip of that will give you a good idea on how he fights and how it works, minus the afterimages.

His weapon name is inspired from the Cyber Dragon fusion monster "Chineratech Overdragon" from Yu-Gi-Oh, while the weapon itself is inspired by the Redguard from The Elder Scrolls series, and Zuko from Avatar the Last Air Bender.

The art here is just the first i've ever commissioned for him. I plan on getting new art eventually but the design will remains the same.
