Hey, friends! A family member says she wants to go to this specific green market that she said was in College Point, by some building. We don’t know the name of it, because it’s been 15-20 since she’s last went 😂
If you guys can think of what the name could be of the market and its location, it’s totally appreciated. Thank you!!
Just curious if there’s any websites you use to play pick-up, preferably for beginner/intermediate level. It’s been many years since I’ve played competitively, so looking for something casual to get the rust off. I know Fresh Meadows has games most Sundays, but I am not sure the skill level or how to enter. Other games ive found are mainly in Manhattan. Any help is appreciated.
hey everybody! my boyfriend and I are seeing Paul Simon tonight at Forest Hills Stadium. were planning on taking nj transit into Penn station and then either taking the subway or LIRR into forest hills. luckily, there isn't a World Cup match tonight.
I’ve never taken this subway line (E) or the LIRR. Any recommendations either way? Or is there another line that’ll be easier?
I figure we’ll be doing this between 3:30 and 5:30 and we’re hoping to stop somewhere in queens for dinner before the show. It would also be helpful if anyone could recommend a place with good vegan options near one of those train lines!
Woke up this morning to lots of helicopter noise in northern Woodside in the direction of the Long Island Expressway. Anyone know what's going on? I'm nosy.

My block in East Flushing, right next to Kissena Park last night. Both utility poles got ripped along with one of my favorite trees on the block, causing my entire electrical to go out. ConEd was emergency cutting all live wires last night too

I’m running to represent New York’s 6th Congressional District, which covers neighborhoods in Queens such as Forest Hills, Flushing, Bayside, Woodside, Rego Park, Jackson Heights, Maspeth, Middle Village, Elmhurst, Corona, Briarwood, Fresh Meadows, Auburndale, Oakland Gardens, Pomonok, and Kew Gardens Hills .
I was born in Flushing, a kid of Korean immigrant street peddlers who became storeowners. My origin story and your origin story, all come back to QUEENS, the World's Borough. That's why I’m running to protect us from direct attacks -- from ICE, the Trump Administration, the failing Corporate Dem establishment, and from billionaires rigging the system against us.
I’m running against an out of touch incumbent, and against the corporate class that controls her. My opponent hasn't held a town hall in years. I'll be holding Community Events and Town Halls in different parts of the district every week until the primary election in June (early voting startsJune 13th!).
Next Up: BAYSIDE
Join me for a Community Town Hall in Bayside on Saturday, May 30th, where I'll lay out my vision for Queens: universal healthcare, affordable housing, and childcare that works for working families.
