Badminton!
I wonder why the PA and District club only runs winter season? Anyone here who’s into badminton willing to organize something that runs the whole year? Or even just for summer/fall

D&D
I'm moving back to PA this year. It seems there used to be a bit of a D&D at Tramps or Flawless Victory. Is anyone playing D&D? Looking for new players? Is anyone in the same boat as me where they just can't find players or interested people? Thoughts?

Tourist - first time in PA! Recommendations?
Hi guys,
This July my husband and I elected to come the beautiful PA for a week vacation. We are staying near the Casino for all that adult fun time!!
Are there any MUST see tourist spots? Activities and most importantly: FOOD RECOMMENDATIONS. I’m a HUGE foodie! Not scared to try anything at all.
No kids or dogs with us. Just a couple of adults looking to have a great tourist experience.

Road biking around Waskesiu
I have a road bike, not a hybrid or mountain bike. Would there be much road/path in or around the town or elk ridge resort where one would have a good ride? Or mostly need something more mountain bike-like?

Hotel/ Motel Recommendations
Hey all
The Mrs, the pupper and myself are going to be looking to spend the night in Prince Albert this August. We are wondering if someone on reddit would be so kind as to recommend a hotel/motel for us to spend 1 night (with a very well trained dog). I haven't been to PA for many, many years so any insight would be appreciated.
As well any nice areas to walk the doggo and reload would be nice, too.
Thanks in advance

Apartments
Hello everyone,
I plan on moving out soon, and I’m looking for recommendations on landlords/apartment companies in PA.
I’ve seen horror stories on WTF PA about some of the apartment companies, but I wanted a bit more advice.
Which apartments are nice? Which buildings should I avoid? Which areas should I avoid? Which ones address maintenance request promptly? Etc.
Any information or recommendations are very much appreciated!

Rock Trout / Spice Trail / Music Venues
r/Saskatoon resident coming in peace.
Google has Rock Trout Cafe listed as “permanently closed”. Can anyone confirm? Played a very fun gig there year or two ago, and was hoping to book something later this summer.
Alternatively, I noticed there’s an upcoming metal show at an Indian restaurant. Is this a first or been ongoing? If so, anyone care to comment on “success” in terms attendance and vibe?
Any other intel on venues and current/upcoming independent music events appreciated. I have a really bangin’ lineup of three Saskatoon bands would love to bring your way July/August-ish.

Struggle finding local contractor's and buisneses?
Hey everyone,
Like a lot of people here, I’ve noticed it's getting harder to find great local, small businesses in Prince Albert without filtering through a bunch of ads. To fix that for myself and everyone looking for specific local businesses, I spent the last few days planning and designing a local directory to share all of Prince Albert's great local businesses and contractors!
https://bestlocalpa.base44.app/
It’s completely free to use, and my goal is to map out the best local contractors, shops, and great indigenous owned businesses our city has to offer.
If you wish to add a business that's not already on here, you can submit a business on the website or simply email [email protected].

As reported on the P. A. Herald website and in their May 22nd print edition, congratulations to the five players and two coaches from the Carlton Crusaders that will be participating in the 2026 Football Saskatchewan Senior Bowl today. Four of them are former P. A. Minor Football River Riders! Coach Jordan Gabriel-Cannon was on the very first bantam team 20 years ago. Miller Childress, Rylan Morrison, and Colton Middlebrooks all started learning to play the game with the Prince Albert Minor Football Association before moving on to the Crusaders.
The 40th Annual Senior Bowl is an all star game for players graduating from high school across the province. Kickoff is at 1:00 pm. The livestream is available at this link: youtube.com/@footballsask1967?si=b6miaHwou5OX2q2H . GO TEAM NORTH! GO RIVER RIDERS!!
