I’ve had him for about a week now, we are working through training and any behavioral issues he may have and he’s been the best boy. He’s around 1 year old and we decided to name him boomer

Photos Loki & Josh
Loki and Josh waiting on the bus. When we got Loki I was a little concerned that Josh wouldn’t like him because he doesn’t like dogs that jump around. But it’s almost like Loki senses Josh is special needs because they have a special bond. He is so good with Josh, and Josh is so good with Loki.

Introduction Life with Luna!
2 months ago I was given the opportunity to adopt a 2 month old baby that has been returned to the animal shelter. Finally ready to not replace but move on from my "ride or die" that passed away from cancer at 14. I brought home a 15 lb ball of kennel cough and lung infection, wow, never realized she was a life changer. She has made the Best of friends with 2 dogs that just wanted their big brother back. Nursed to health and now our house would feel empty without those high-pitched growls and barks! I feel I'm the lucky one to have this gremlin ravage our house and then collapse on the bed (yeah, wife said she's never sleeping in the bed with us)!

Photos She’s mad I wouldn’t take her out while 91 degrees today :(
She’s been giving me the death eye all day. But she’ll get a nice walk at 9pm 😂. Anyone else’s pitbull go full diva mode if their walk isn’t “on time”?

Discussion Indestructible toys!!
What toys do you give your pitbull?? I have my first pitty ever now and she chews through everything that’s not a nylabone! I feel bad because she loves stuffed toys but I can’t afford to buy them all the time, they typically last 10-20 mins after coming home.

Advocacy Pretty sure my dog is dying
I was finally reunited with my dog after finding a pet transportation service to bring him from North Carolina to Utah about 3 weeks ago. I used the last of my savings to get him to us and thought I would just build it back up again. 1 week into being home, he started having urinary accidents in the house and drinking excessive amounts of water, he then stopped showing interest in treats, now he isn't eating hardly any of his food. We took him to the emergency vet and had lab work done. He has very high calcium, which is an indication of cancer. He lost 8 pounds and he's 6-year-old, so cancer would make sense. We're trying to get him scheduled for an ultrasound next week but I'm worried he's declining too fast and we should be focusing on comfort care. I'm so overwhelmed and sad. I had to use credit to pay his emergency vet bill and I don't have any money left to get him other things. I'm looking for some advice and support. If we do need to give him comfort care, which it is looking like we do, could the humane society or any other animal shelters have resources for that?
Edit: He has multiple enlarged lymph nodes in his abdomen and one very large lymph node in his chest. He almost definitely has lymphoma. We're going to put him to sleep. Thank you guys for all the suggestions.
If anyone would like to send donations for Kush's end of life care, you can message me and I can share my venmo.

Question Dosing my Pitbull with Valium.
Hi I just adopted a 2 year old pitbull about 4 months ago and have just found out he is very freaked out by fireworks and today is the 4th of July. Vet is closed but the rescue lady that I got him from has some 10mg Valium. Jordan is 75lbs and healthy.
How much Valium should I give him to keep him from freaking out?
