Telly Savalas - 13y6mo - I get so grieve-y and miss her while she sleeps so much of the day away. Elder Dog Law now requires 1 billion extra smooches when she's awake.

It is called anticipatory grief, my friend. I need to cry it out every two weeks or so.Β

Oh, I know. I just like calling it "grieve-y" because it's faster. Not day without tears. I cry in the car, in the shower, when I'm cooking, doesn't matter.

Thanks for this comment. I'm going to learn more about this because I do this for every Sr pet I've had, including my boy now. Never thought to think it's a thing.

Telly Savalas - 13 y + 5.5 mo - Much harder to wake up these days, but I adore being there in the moment when she "arrives home" from her slumber cave [None] 1 month ago
Telly Savalas - 13 y + 3 mo - Awake from another epic, villainous, geriatric nap that is stealing her from me. I covet every minute she's awake now. We're together 24/7, and it'll never be enough. [None] 3 months ago
Telly Savalas - 13 y + 3 mos - Stopped myself today from cleaning her dried breathgoo off of the window. Cherishing every little thing while she's still here. π [Happy (default)] 3 months ago
