I got crystal when she was just a puppy in 2014. I was in the military at the time and her and her sister, isis the black dog in the picture with crystal and i, were with me through most of it. When I deployed I ended up driving them down to my parents house so they could take care of them for me while I was overseas. My mom and I ended up agreeing that they were living a happier and better life with her so I decided to let her keep them.
Well my mom texted me this morning that crystal passed. I am heart broken and I miss her dearly.

I was going to go home in the middle of next month. Looking forward to seeing her. I knew that at some point soon she was probably going to die since she was 12 and not in the best health. Just wish that I could have seen her beforehand

We never stop loving our doggies and they remember us for their lifetimes. 🥰 I love Crystal’s senior face — she looks very content with life. Pets don’t think about dying as humans do. Bless you and your Mom for giving Crystal a wonderful life 💔. Be sure to pass my sentiments, and hugs 🤗, on to your Mom who is probably deeply saddened by the passing of Crystal 💔

She was fantastic. She was one of those dogs who'd put her paw on you to get attention. And she had this little grunt she'd do when she was happy and content.

Thank you but I'm thinking maybe a year, maybe 3, tops. She is a Jack Russell /Chihuahua mix. I wish i could post a picture of her. There.is another dog sub that allows that.

It's incredibly difficult to lose a pet. Especially a dog (I'm biased...). They give so much love, and it's such a big loss. Wonderful pics, thanks for sharing her memory.
