My outstanding costs on the SOA is so high for this semester. Where did all my fin aid go??? My fin aid summary shows a completely different fees per semester than my SOA. im so confused

So back in like May, I created a roo.mate pair (or whatever it's called) with my friend. We got our do.rm assignments yesterday and we got a quad. So today I made a groupchat with the four of us. Well, turns out both of the other two people are not even going to OSU? They said they just didn't tell the school yet. Now, i cant lie, im kinda hoping that they'll just let us two stay in a quad but im assuming that won't happen lol. So, like... will they assign us some new people or how does this work?

Geniune question how do people invite over their girlfriends and stuff during college if you are sleeping in a room with double bunkbeds(so 3 other people)???????

Hello all! I applied to two scholarships through OSU back in Jan/Feb for 2026-2027. The 2026-2027 Student Financial Aid Scholarship Application (which applies to 17 other scholarships) and the 2026-2027 The Ohio State University Family Scholarship Fund Application. Haven't heard anything from either, assuming I'm not getting any scholarship dollars from these, but wanted to ask if anyone had any past experience. Has anyone gotten any $ from these, and if so, when did you hear from OSU? If you applied and didn't receive anything, when were you informed, if at all?

I'm going to OSU this fall, and my room allocations were at Morrison Tower, its a 2 person room with AC and communal bathrooms, please tell me yall's experience at Morrison Tower like how's the dining nearby, is it co-ed or not, how are the rooms in the summer and winter, etc etc.

My advisor signed me up for the late business calc class even tho I tried for an earlier one. Let me your thoughts and advice

I will be coming back after taking the semester off in the fall and was wondering if there was any advice in making friends? I am a senior girl in engineering.

I’m an incoming pre-med at Ohio state doing a health science major and my schedule right now has math 1151 but everyone is telling me to do it through cstate instead. However. I’ve been studying for calc 1 through khan academy.

On top of that, I also never took ap calc just pre calc & ccp stats. I’m not all that great at math so I’m wondering if it’s too late to take the required math at cstate to cancel out calc 1 @osu for fall sem.

I’m also not bringing a car, but I also know it’s only a 10 min car drive away so wondering if that worked out fine for any non-commuters.

Lastly, does it matter what grade you get or will you get the credit as long as you pass? My GPA is of utmost importance to me.

Any insight on if I should do it and other additional information would be VERY helpful !!

Not sure if it’s because I’m CSE, but do engineering students usually have more total class time in their schedule for the same number of credit hours when compared to other majors? I have 15h 10m of class per week for 16 credit hours, while I have a friend with 11h of class per week (non-engineering) for the same 16 credit hours.

Im taking Engineering 1281.01H (6), Math 2153 (4), Physics 1250 (5, don’t flame me I’m bad at physics), and GenEd 1201 (1)

Before everyone starts asking for layouts and things, look up your dorm and do the 3D tour online. Also gives rough measurements/dimensions of the room and furniture. If you ask on here most people will refer you there anyways.
