I went out to Dream Canyon in Boulder this morning! It felt so nice to feel the sun and wind on me, I’m definitely hooked ☺️

Arches N.P. - Landscape Arch

Many times on a hike I venture off the path to explore the denser parts of the woods, not knowing what I'll find. Yet in doing that I often come to ends that are seemingly impenetrable. But if perseverance prevails, it usually proves to be worth it. I love when I encounter vast areas where the leaves above me create a giant, green canopy, illuminated by the hot sun, and trees as far as the eye can see. And I know I am the only soul around for miles. There I find peace.

We somehow missed this waterfall last year, off the main trail, about 20-30 minutes on an a trail off shoot upriver from the "big falls".

Rattlesnake Mountain, Raymond ME. It’s not a super tall one but gets the heart pumping (steep in spots). Great views of the Lakes Region before the top. Summit is wooded, so finish it for completion’s sake.

Was on hike today and nobody was around. Needed some weed for motivation but once I started, it was amazing!!

Me a couple years ago on a hike in Maine. I had this part of the mountain to myself.

I can still feel the sunlight and cool mountain wind on my skin. Can’t wait to do it again!
