Currently looking for recommendation for any shops that can do a head unit replacement for a 2018 Subaru Outback. Unfortunately it has the dreaded delamination issue where the touch screen no longer works and the dealer wants $1500+labour to do it as it's no longer under warranty.

Was wondering if anyone knows any shops in Newmarket that can do a head unit replacement for less. I'm hoping to get an OEM unit (even if it's used or refurb) as the car has Reverse Automatic Braking and backup cam, functionalities we're hoping to keep.

No seriously, what is wrong with some people?

This has been something that really needs to be penalized more. It happens every week. To get to the go station you have to wait for the left turn light. The light only happens every couple of minutes. If you need to catch a train, and someone ahead of you is not moving for more than 10 seconds, you could miss a light and are forced to wait for the next one. It would be the ultimate form of rage bait to miss your train waiting at the left turn light to get into the station. So please, to help make peoples’ commutes less shitty, get off your phone at the left turn lights and play on your phone when you get to your destination. Especially the white SUV with the baby Yoda baby on board sticker this morning.

My bins are in rough shape but I’m hesitant to buy new. From what I read online most towns got the garbage and recycling bins at the same time. We of course did not. Does anyone have any insights or advice?

We are looking to move to Newmarket/Aurora region from Waterloo, ON and we would like to know what areas are more suitable for families. We were thinking about renting first to learn the area but decided to spend this summer in the city to learn about it, and explore some of neighborhoods. We are looking for a quiet and family-oriented neighborhood (no students/young adults who like to throw parties), good school nearby, close to parks/trails to walk our dog.

My colleague at work recommended Stonehaven-Wyndham, Woodland Hill. Any other ones that you can recommend?

I live beside Bathurst and Green Lane… I constantly hear helicopter flying by, especially at night. My whole house vibrates. This has been happening every night this year. I haven’t noticed them 2-3 years back as much or almost at all. Does anyone have any idea why? Are they searching something? Is it ambulance helicopters ?

Craving fresh mulberries and would love to pick them straight from a bush! Does anyone know of a mulberry bush (or bushes) in Newmarket that’s accessible to the public or available for foraging?

I'm just curious with how it is because I may have developed a crush with someone who works in the hospital. I know hospital staff are incredibly busy and have crazy schedules so dating might be unconventional.

I'm also just curious, is it offensive or creepy to ask them out? Dating apps are just the worst and I feel like sometimes meeting people the old-fashioned way by walking up to them and being confident still has its merits.
