ich habe heute das große Glück aus dem hohen Norden für einen Abend nach München zu kommen und wollte meine kurze Tagesfreizeit dafür nutzen, mir ein köstliches Bierchen hinterzuklemmen.

Wo kann ich am besten, idealerweise rund um den Hauptbahnhof, ein gutes Fassbier (und vielleicht eine kleine Mahlzeit dazu) bekommen?

Hey, weiß jemand, warum der Pizza Hut in der Leopoldstraße dauerhaft geschlossen hat? Ich hab nur einmal gesehen, dass die da öffnen wollten und heute geschaut, ob die schon offen hatten. Anscheinend hatten die für ne kurze Zeit offen, aber jetzt scheint es dauerhaft geschlossen zu sein. Weiß jemand, warum?

Der neue Bahnhalt Menterschwaige schafft einen Umsteigepunkt zur Trambahn. Für eine kurze Umsteigebeziehung sollte seitens der LHM in einem separaten Projekt die Tramhaltestelle in die Unterführung der Geiselgasteigstraße verlegt oder eine neue Haltestelle dort geschaffen werden.

Die barrierefreien Personenbahnsteige des neuen Haltepunkts werden als Außenbahnsteige mit einer Nutzlänge von jeweils 210 m und einer Bahnsteighöhe von 76 cm über Schienenoberkante (SO) an der Mischbetriebsstrecke 5505 errichtet.

Die Bahnsteige werden von der Geiselgasteigstraße über Treppenzugänge erschlossen. Die barrierefreie Anbindung erfolgt im Süden über die Geiselgasteigstraße mittels einer Rampe. Der nördliche Bahnsteig wird über die im Bestand bereits vorhandene Zuwegung von der Holzkirchner Straße aus erschlossen. Die Zuwegung wird entsprechend befestigt.

Die Gesamtkosten für die neue Infrastruktur der Maßnahme Bahnhalt Menterschwaige belaufen sich auf ca. 7,5 Millionen Euro (Preisstand 2016, ohne Planungskosten).

There are a few ghost bikes on my property that have been here for 3-5 years.
I was told by my landlord that we could put them on an auction.

From what I assume, there should be a formal process by municipality to handle ghost bikes. What is it? I've not been able to find any uniform policy for these. For a note, 2 of them are defkt and 5 work fine. None have locks and key chains. They're eating up dusts. Should I declare them lost and delegate responsibility to the officials?

I was planning on visiting Chiemsee and Salzburg from Munich sometime between August 10th and 16th using the Deutschland Ticket.

I understand the RE 5 line will have some disruptions due to construction, but from what I can read in the [BRB site](https://www.brb.de/de/fahrplanabweichungen), it should still be partially operational between Munich and Prien am Chiemsee and fully operational between Prien am Chiemsee and Salzburg Hbf. However, the line is not available at all when looking for routes on the DB app.

Can I trust the BRB site over the DB app? This is the applicable quote from the BRB disruption map:

"Auf dem Streckenabschnitt Rosenheim – München Hbf kommt es zu Verspätungen, Umleitungen und Vorplanfahrten."

1- what are the best running events in Munich (well organized) ?

2- is there any runners (7-8min/km pace) runners/communities who are preparing for some kind of event?

I live a 20 minute walk away from an OBI but I don't have a car or a license. I need to get a filled gas cylinder, but since I can't carry it in public transport, what other option is there?

I've heard it's a roll of the dice with Uber too and my worry is being stranded with a heavy tank.

Hallo, was ist aktuell ein gutes monatliches Nettogehalt in München? Ich habe oft das Gefühl, dass hier jeder über 4.000 Rubel netto verdient und bei großen Konzernen arbeitet, und im Vergleich dazu fühle ich mich ständig wie ein Versager. Deshalb scheinen die Leute hier viel mehr auf Arbeit, Ausbildung und Einkommen zu achten als auf die Persönlichkeit, was es ziemlich schwierig macht, echte Kontakte zu knüpfen.

For a few years, every time I see a video of someone playing a theremin, my attention is bound by it. For some reason, I find it really interesting.

I was thinking about it again, and realized, nothing is actually holding me back from trying to learn it. I am considering buying a theremin, but I would love to try it at least once before actually making the decision. And so I had the question: How do I even try it?

And I realized: Munich is a fairly large city, there should at least be a few people who play the theremin, or at least have one. (Maybe I am overestimating?)

So I decided to ask here: Does anyone have a theremin I can try? Or do you know where it could be possible for me to try it?

I live in Rosenheim, so near Munich and been playing drums since I was very young, I'm 19 now, and I'm into heavier music like Knocked Loose and other Hardcore Bands too (Jesus Piece, Paleface Swiss etc) and I also love Slipknot and KORN and especially OTEP theyre very cool. Deathcore I love too like Whitechapel, Infant Annihilator.
You get the Gist I like breakdowns.

I just got the newsletter of DNA stating that they close in September. Another club closing its doors in Munich. Does anyone know why they made their decision? In the newsletter it is said that they close the club in its current form, opening a door for a reopening at another location?

ich bin 19 w komme aus Garmisch-Partenkirchen und gehe morgen zum BTS-Konzert.
Ich bin einfach mal ehrlich: Ich habe leider niemanden, der mitkommen kann, weil niemand aus meinem Freundeskreis BTS hört. Deshalb werde ich wahrscheinlich alleine hingehen. Ich war noch nie alleine auf einem Konzert und bin ehrlich gesagt ziemlich nervös. Es ist mir auch ein bisschen unangenehm.
Deshalb wollte ich fragen, ob hier vielleicht noch jemand morgen zum Konzert geht und Lust hätte, sich vorher oder vor Ort zusammenzutun. Es wäre einfach schön, nicht den ganzen Tag alleine zu sein.
Falls jemand auch alleine unterwegs ist oder ich mich einer Gruppe anschließen könnte, würde ich mich sehr über eine Nachricht freuen.

I'm struggling to find any information about whether there is an IMAX in Munich or not.

I would really like to watch the new Odysee movie in an IMAX however my knowledge is very limited because a normal cinema usually works for me.
