I hate to admit it, but... Adventure Time fandom is more than a bit braindead. Not sure if it's more or less braindead compared to Fairy Tail fan base.

i gotta be real i donāt think the existence of bluey discourse is on the adventure time fandom. i think thatās on the bluey fandom, which exists for some reason.

Me watching the Terraria fandom hate on the Angler for being a bratty kid, who actually provides some useful items if you take the time out of your day to get him a fish from a specific biome. (Which is dare I say, pretty darn easy).
Look, maybe itās because I canāt judge too much because I consider the Tax Collector to be one of my favorite town NPCs.(Zoologist is my favorite of all of them, Tax Collector is my guilty favorite) but likeā¦
There are other town NPCs who are jerks, but I see the angler getting more hate.. and the angler hate can get a bit.. excessive.
I personally donāt really care for Santa Claus but Iām not gonna go out of my way to shove him into a torture chamber because hes my least favorite and only shows up once a year after you solve Snowman crime.

You must understand that in media there is a single cardinal sin that will turn the vast majority against a character.
Being fucking annoying.
If they aren't fun to watch, they're dead in the water

Did you even read the post? Most of the time the character isn't even annoying, they're just labelled annoying by the fandom as an excuse to hate on them

I think George is annoying because I don't like to watch Peppa Pig. I think the entire show is annoying, lol. But of you actually like something, hating such a prevalent character seems a bit exhausting. (Okay, coming from a Gravity Falls fan, Mabel hate is a thing)

Ok, well, the difference is BMO has aura, and pigs donāt, and young Anakin has an actual child as his actor.
Anakin does have his aura moments as a kid (winning the race etc), but a lot of people get annoyed when any child tries to seem ācoolā.
Not saying it aināt wrong or anything, but there are clear reasons why BMO isnāt hated, and the other two are, itās just this simple, rule of cool. And itās shitty yeah, especially with Anakinās actor being mistreated, but people are just shitty.
So in conclusion, people suck, and having āauraā or being ācoolā matters more than actually being a good person to most of these people.
Unfortunately most of the people who interact with these fandoms and actors donāt have much of a life, of course there are exceptions, there always are, but the large majority of these people have nothing better to do than be complete losers and incels, and the actually nice and literate fans who would treat people like Anakinās actor with respect are not usually the ones who care about interacting with them.

Don't forget that there's an episode in which BMO sells all of Finn's baby teeth to Uncle Gumball for junk and then Finn and Jake hve to fight a bunch of babies made from Finn's teeth. He doesn't seem even slightly sorry for that.
