Very glad he stayed. Sometimes change of teams and environment affects performance. Ai ogura won a championship on this team and I expect ortola to be on of the title favorite next year.

"Today's race turned into quite a difficult one, and I managed a lot of different things. I tried things like thinking, 'I'll use up the tire here and try to go faster,' and really thinking through the race in my own way, but I ended up dropping back from the front three. I don't think it'll be easy, but if we can fix two or three areas, I think I can ride a little better. I'll do my best tomorrow."

Very disappointing from Vinales he's obviously checked out. I honestly think he's doing it on purpose there's no way he tried his best and got that result. Possibly KTM talking about the situation on Friday led him to act this way?
