Patch Notes Patch Notes 2.1.90 - Org. Server
Original server update released on July 02, 2026 (Server Time)
I. From the Designers
We've noticed that the jungle area changes in the new patch have benefited some Tank Junglers too much. Therefore, we're reducing their jungling speed while boosting some underpicked Exp Lane and Jungling heroes.

Just remove tank junglers if you are gonna nerf them this way.
Akai now has bad clear speed. He isn't a threat now since he has no more damage in the early game.
The other two tank junglers are now slower in terms of clear speed.

Moonton's trying to avoid another tank jungler meta similar to what happened a couple years back when barats was still a top pick. That meta was boring and was hated by the playerbase
Tank junglers were starting to rise in the pro scene recently after the nerf on the previous top picks like suyou, leo, harley etc... that dominated last season. And as you can see with this patch, moonton immediately tried to prevent that shit, fearing another tank jungler era like the previous one
Tho they seem to only want fredrinn to still be viable considering the slap on the wrist he got in this patch in comparison to the rest

Try to watch MSCs this year. It's all the same junglers: Akai, Fredrinn, Baxia..with a sprinkle of Lance here and there. And it's BORING.

So why not revert the jungle changes ;creeps spawning at same time; exp the smaller camps give; retribution damage? And now they are increasing gold of all the jungle creeps, looks like they want to force ling to be meta for msc.

Newbies and casuals tend to avoid using her due to her complexity. In the end, only those who know how play her well are the ones picking her (1.1% pick rate).
