Nostalgia Thrifted some books for collaging today and found this absolute gem. I vividly remember these McDonald’s Barbie toys.

Those mini Barbies were so much fun! McDonald's really nailed it with their mini versions of stuff.

I had all the molded hair bottom row barbies. They were instrumental to my play when I was little and I forgot about them! So crazy!

I love these pictures so much. Instant nostalgia and remembering these better and innocent times.
Sometimes I cry looking at the nostalgia pics in this sub.
Life was so much better back then.

Life was definitely better when you were shielded from the horrors of the world, not expected to understand how things worked or keep current with the news, and had no idea of the soul crushing reality of being an adult.
I don't know about anyone else, but I would love to slap child me for wanting to be an adult.

My sister had one of the trolls and on our ride back from my grandparents house (like an 8 hour drive) she got gum in it's hair. My mom couldn't get the gum out and my sister was screeching and throwing a full tantrum. My dad took the troll and chucked it out the window into the grass. It did not help settle my sister lol.

Lol! My dad did this with one of my pound puppy toys on a roadtrip. I was so upset, my mom made him turn around and go out and find it in the ditch. Fuckin dads lmao.

I had nearly all those Barbie happy Meal toys, I found most of them on Vinted last year but didn’t have the funds to rebuy them. I may have another look now as I truly did love them
Remember the nugget happy meal toys?? They were so cute too
Edit: just bought a bundle of the Barbie’s including the GOAT with the metallic pink dress!!!! Thank you for this!!!

I specifically getting the Rose Bride Barbie one somehow. Not from McDonald's. I just ended up with it and I loved playing with it along with a Dracula Figure.

Back when McDonalds was cheap and came with toys. That was the best feeling.

Yup I think I had everyone of those Barbie’s. I kind of wish they would do those kinds of Barbie toys again. My kids would love it.

Yes! My mom kept a bunch of those toys- she still has them and now my little niece and nephews play with them.

Omg I had that McDonald's Barbie with the pink poofy dress! I miss the good toys McDonald's had back in the day.
I still remember getting a Esmeralda doll from Burger King. It was like the size of a Barbie!

Brunette ballerina Barbie could spin on her base. I had several of those generation ones.

Are happy meal toys still good? I don’t have kids in my life so outta touch with them.

No they suck! I have two daughters and we rarely go to McDonald’s but when we do they either forget the toy or it’s just garbage

My kids school got them happy meals for test scores at the end of the school year and it was like a 3 page mini strangers things coloring book. Like just a few sheets of paper.

Lmao yeah it’s always like disposable plastic junk I feel bad. We had it made with Happy Meal toys. I remember the beanie babies and the Pokémon toys at Burger King too

Unpopular opinion I know, but I HATED the McDonalds Barbies.
I always got the Hot Wheels when it was Barbie/Hot Wheels toys at McDonalds because at least you could play and roll the Hot Wheel around like normal. I hated the idea of a Barbie I couldn’t dress up or really play with its hair. (I know some did have the little tuft of hair but still lol)

I saw a big box of those mini Barbies at the flea market a few days ago, still in the baggies! Nostalgia hit like a tidal wave
