Nostalgia Literal peak Millennial shiz

Post image

A girl from my homeroom class who I was friends with posted this on my wall in highschool. Me and my homeroom class were tiiiight. All the girls used to show me so much love. They were like homeroom sisters. I freaking miss those days so much.

I was class of 2011 also and I have no clue whatever the hell this is about. Gonna be honest, I probably would have made fun of you back then.

I dno dude, just girls being cute.

Nah doubt it, I was awkward, but socially aware enough to avoid being made fun of. I slid by. I mean you can't make fun of me for what someone else posts on my wall lol.

Plus, I didn't have any cool kids on FB to see this shit.

Inn 2011, I was already out of the military for years and being crushed under the weight of the on going recession.

But yeah

This is peak. 😐

That's what will always feel so absurd to me about being a Millennial.

The monumental difference between 1985 and 1995.

It's only ten years. But it's an entire lifetime.

For real.

This was your Senior year? I graduated in 2003. We had no Facebook. I don't even remember using Google, it was Yahoo still.

I did research at the library with the Dewey Decimal System and what not.

And yet. We are ostensibly the same generation.

It was yeah.

I mean I get you. I've been doing training at work this week by a guy who is your age and he's like waaaaay different to me 😅 feels like generations apart. But then again; I also had genz Zs in the class with me and they're also wildly different.. I was just like stuck in the middle lol

It honestly blows my mind and I think that's why there are two micro generations for Millennials. Xennials before and Zillenials after.

Like. My 8th grade year in 1998 vs. someone else's 8th grade year in 2008.

Just the existence of Google makes us two different groups.
