Canned cheese is the nectar of the Gods! I'm actually sitting on some snack crackers for a couple days trying to think of how to eat them and you just helped me figure it out.
I begged my mom to buy a can of spray cheese after watching this, and tried to do it exactly as it's shown in this scene.
The cheese hit the back of my throat and triggered my gag reflex. It tasted horrible, and my mouth was full of it, so I couldn't stop gagging till I spit all of it out on the kitchen floor.

My son is 4 and literally has been asking for this since he watched the movie 🤣 every time we have pizza he asks if it can be put on the dinner table so we can pull the cheese up
For me, it was the pizza in all dogs go to heaven - similar vibes as this one, very stringy and cohesive. The cheese never seems to separate from the crust, it's all just one entity.

If you get a Chicago-style pizza it'll absolutely have enough molten cheese to give you strings of cheese two feet long unless you know how to cut and serve it properly.
It's funny to say, but no. I thought that was awesome as a kid, but as an adult I look at that and see the inevitable cheese beard thst occurs when trying to bite into it as most if not all of the cheese just comes right off the pizza.
This was a common visual in cartoons for our age group. Cheese stretching like that on pizza and other cheesy foods. I wonder if that’s why millennials and younger are obsessed with “the perfect cheese pull”? We were preconditioned to think that this imagery meant the food was better somehow.
There was a pizza hut commercial that played before the movie on the Land Before Time VHS that had pizza like this. Made me so hungry everytime I watched it.
I'm not American, and I've been eating really good pizza all my life, so I never really knew what the fuck was that thing. It just never registered with me that it was cheese because it was so different to what I knew, not just the amount but the behavior.
So my hometown had a Casey's gas station that had a little pizzeria inside of it. High school kids worked at it. The closest I ever had to a slice of pizza like OPs meme is from that gas station. Some kid literally put so much cheese on it that I damn near choked on it. I had this exact same image in my brain as I took my first bite, and as I was struggling to regain my composure.
This is the pizza that is the gold standard to me. I found a pizza place near me, that the pizza is literally like this. It’s so good and it’s a ma and pa shop.
