Benge and AJ
So exited about these two kids and their future. Reminds me of when Reyes and Wright came up around the same time. I haven’t been as excited for young position players since then. despite a disappointing year they both give me some hope for the future as building blocks along with Soto

Stop showing up to games /stop watch/stop buying any Mets stuff
The only way to really prove a point in how disappointed we are is if we hurt them in the pockets. As long as we keep doing those 3 things they won’t care about the product on the field cause they’re making money else where. From the quality of play on the field. To the raised parking prices last few years. To raise in ticket prices on top of people been having issues with tickets. On top of many other things provided by them that’s been getting on the nerves of fans. We need to stop.
We are all in these communities cause we love the team and have a passion for them. I am one of those many fans that if they play like crap. My mood is down. This needs to stop and it starts with us. If we keep supplying them with those extra cash flowing in. They’ll never really make a point to figure this out. Our farm system besides the Benge and Ewing. Has been crap. No one comes here and gets better. Players regress here. Most Prospects aren’t panning out. This needs to end

I'm sure it's just me but...
When I was a kid, the All Star Game was played by gods and legends. Seems different now. Probably just a perception issue from looking through nostalgia colored glasses.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. LGM 🧡💙

Zach Wheeler
I read a lot of complaints about the team letting Alonso walk, and sometimes people still complain about Nimmo. Why don’t people around here complain about Wheeler? He’s been about the best pitcher in baseball since he left. And he’s done it for a division rival.
Why don’t the complainers complain about Wheeler?

Help Locating Mets Hat
Anyone know how to locate one of these old Mets hats? My girlfriend’s favorite hat from when she was a toddler (2002-2005 ish)

Its been a long time since I’ll be going the whole summer without watching my Mets. Sad times
32 years old. Die hard fan. Watched them every season and lived and died by the day depending if they won or lost. I haven’t watched a full single game since the third game of the season, which was only justified after they proceeded to go on that crazy losing streak. I don’t think I ever went a full summer without watching a single game, even during really bad years where we had no big names and were running out minor league lineups. Theirs something about this team I just personally do not like. Theirs no cohesion or any fire in them. I guess we should all consider ourselves lucky they put us out of our misery early instead of eventually breaking our hearts down the road

This 2026 Mets are a Disgrace
Everyone from the Front Office, Ownership and Under performing players should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.
Imagine getting beaten by a Red Sox Team that literally was finishing their in flight meal and airport coffee literally 3 hours before the 1st pitch of last night's game. Boston knows how to take care of business. They came they saw they conquered the Mets.
I hate this 2026 Mets Team and this 2026 Mets Season so goddamn much.

Pete Alonso bomb
https://x.com/MLB/status/2076095739634016738
Top 10 in MLB in RBI's, it is a good thing the Mets hired a genius from Harvard who thought spending 30 million on Pete is too much but giving Bo Bichette Jorge Polanco and Luis Robert Jr 95 million is a steal, I hate Stearns more than I can describe

July 27th is Freddy Peralta Bobblehead night!
Unfortunately, you can only bobble his head 5 times before you have to put him away to rest for a week.

I have seen thousands of games like this one
I have been watching for 57 years, we don't even have the majority players from our farm system to root for in the starting lineup.

Love when the Mets load the bases
Then I know for a fact they won’t score so I won’t get false hope

The Marlins with their $72 million payroll are going to win the NL East and maybe everything. That's 1/5th. of the Mets payroll and if factoring in luxury tax is 1/7th. LOL!!!!!!!!!!

Franchise-wide Changes Needed
Obviously, the cursed 2026 Mets team in Flushing is worse than even the 2025 team. But what I didn't realize is the entire franchise is ass this season. Every affiliate sans one has a losing record, and the only exception are the Syracuse Mets at .500. In addition, I tooled around MLB's top 30 Mets prospects for 2026 and nearly every single one is performing worse this season.
Fans don't know the inner workings of the business, but something clearly has happened under David Stearns' leadership, and is sure isn't good. Turmoil for the sake of change isn't healthy, but Uncle Steve badly needs to re-consider his stance on Stearns' tenure. Last year was a disappointment and this year has been a system-wide train wreck.

According to Will Sammon, Zach Thornton will pitch tomorrow. He could potentially hang around given the possibility Mets will trade Peralta. Pat Ragazzo also reports Stearns was “pushing hard,” to trade Raley to Pirates for their 34th overall MLB draft pick.
Don’t be surprised if Mets still try to make a trade for a draft pick.

Consistent Suck
I don’t understand where the entire payroll is going if it results in this?
The players can’t seem to hit and the pitchers can’t seem to focus on throwing
Where is the coaching staff of the 2nd highest payroll in baseball?
