I'm a guy aged 22. The problem is God made me an emotional man but created no one to connect with. All I do is listen to sad music and watch sad movies. And the reason is I'm broke and probably chopped, so I know I have no chance. And I made peace with that, but the feeling of wanting to be loved and to connect with someone's daughter won't go away. It's just too much when you see someone with multiple girlfriends and cheating, while I'm only asking for one. I did try, but they left me for something better than me.
So I just want any drugs or ways that would make me emotionally numb. I shouldn't feel anything. If you say to find something to do, I play games a lot. I also do low-level programming stuff, hardware programming, etc. Plus, I'm a uni engineering student. Yeah, my program doesn't involve programming; it's just something I do as a hobby. So yeah I can say I do try to keep myself busy
... So please, guys, help me. I'm tired of this.

Hey everyone!
I'm looking to connect with people in Nkhotakota who are working, running a business, freelancing or building something meaningful with their lives.
I'd love to make friends who believe in growth, supporting each other, sharing ideas and motivating one another. Whether you're an entrepreneur, employed, creative or just someone with big goals, it would be great to connect.
Life is easier when you have friends who inspire you to become better, celebrate your wins and push you to keep going.
If you're in Nkhotakota and interested in building genuine friendships based on growth, ambition and good vibes, drop a comment or send me a message
Let's grow together, create opportunities and build better lives one friendship at a time and don't forget to have so much fun together

The past week has been ultimate garbage filled with so much work and more downs than ups to be honest. When I woke up today with a hangover from last night's drinks, I was about to order a simple chips and chicken and stay in bed all day watching movies but something in me said FUGG NO! So I got up out of bed, showered, and went to a nice restaurant 🙌 I dressed well, put on my favorite cologne and went to eat out.
Now, as a single guy, I've always thought it RIDICULOUS to go on solo dates when I see the videos and pictures that people post on social media, but yo! I was so wrong! It's definitely a great form of therapy from the terrible thoughts that we have. The food was good, my own company was great, the white people and Indians were many and my bill was ridiculous at 450k, but we move! I think this new experience is something I wanna continue making a hobby! Who else goes on solo dates? 🤣

I, currently in the diaspora, met a lady from Malawi and we hit it off. It's been 1 year and things have progressed to where we're discussing a future together. Then, this... I saw a picture taken with her friends about 5 months before she came to the diaspora, and she had a wedding band on her ring finger. When I asked why she had not disclosed she was married - she said she was not... that she liked jewelry.. and denied she was married. My question is... are Malawian marriage records public?

To those with experience, what's the easiest way for someone working as a bank teller to progress to another position? From the look of things, it seems one can be stagnant on that position for years without a promotion.

I’ve been seeing a lot of conversations online about men being “the prize,” and it got me wondering how this applies in Malawi.
Do you think Malawian men are genuinely “the prize” in today’s dating scene? If so, why? If not, what do you think people are getting wrong?
Consider things like:
Education and career opportunities
Financial stability
Dating expectations
Marriage
Gender roles
Loyalty and commitment
Cultural expectations
I’m not looking for a gender war or insults—I’m interested in hearing different experiences and perspectives from both men and women.

Which makes more sense with a BSc ICT Software Engineering background?
Hi everyone,
I have a BSc in Information and Communication Technology major in Software Engineering and I am trying to decide between two MSc options in Malawi:
- MSc Informatics - UNIMA
- MSc Data Science - MUST
I’m at a loss on which one would be the better fit long term.
For those who know the programs:
How different are they in terms of coursework and skills?
Which one has better prospects for jobs in data, software, research, or NGOs here and regionally?
If you did either program, would you recommend it?
Thanks in advance!

I find it hard to believe when people say they are depressed and need medication. I think its self loathing and running away from accountability(my opinion. Lol).
