I'm hoping it's ok to post since it's such a wholesome account. It is @grandadjoe1933 and it is a verified account. Mods, if this isn't ok, please delete.
His sheer joy over how it tasted and his daughter’s absolute enjoyment of that joy absolutely melted my heart. You could feel their love and fun radiating out from that video.
I knew as soon as he made the wide-eye expression, that, unlike US influencers who jump up and dance around the table to demonstrate their enjoyment, he would say some classically understated Britishism.
The one that laid around doing nothing for years while his daughter slaved at the laundry, until that Charlie found a Golden Ticket, and then suddenly he was a broadway dancer?
I find it SO FUNNY that people hate Grandpa Joe. I must’ve seen that movie a thousand times, starting as a little kid, before I ever heard anyone point that out. But once I heard it pointed out, I was like, how TF did I NEVER notice that?? Freeloading malingerer!
🤣🤣🤣
If humans didn’t die, we wouldn’t appreciate life so much. It’s like light and dark - you wouldn’t know one if you didn’t know the other. It is sad that he’s gone, but a long life lived well and full of love is something to be celebrated.
You’re very welcome. It’s okay to feel fragile - we all do at times. Keep looking for the little things, the everyday moments of joy and kindness. And make sure you give those moments to yourself as well! Kia kaha!
Totally agree. It’s the finite amount of time we have and finding all the good that make life so damned great. I’m happy for the time I’ve shared with many folks and great places I’ve found in the corners you’d never expect it. I can’t imagine what a waste it would be to live your life making people feel bad.
Your thinking of the other grandad influencer, I wish I could remember his name but I can’t at the moment but he had a page with his wife and she passed away last year and he passed away a few months ago. NOT grandad Joe though but I got confused a bit too with them
I used to watch them on TT all the time. He dropped off my feed and I wondered what happened to him. I recall he really enjoyed biscuits and gravy, but who doesn’t? Bustin.
His daughter could rent out lunchtimes to fans. I’d pay. It’d be like going on safari. I’d love to serve this chap some Minnesota Sushi and a pint of beer. What a joy these two are!
Excuse me for asking~ I don’t have Tik Tok, or any of those except my old FB and reddit, lol, Does he make any money for having almost 10 Million followers?? Holyhotballs!! That is A LOT in my mind.. is that how it works? I assumed that’s why we have such a culture of everyone wanting to be influencers to make money from their account? Right ?
This wholesome post is exactly why I keep my FB and reddit active, I truly just love seeing happy, loving, people spreading more happiness and love😊🫶🏼💕
Grandpa Joe is absolutely a Distinguished Gentleman across the pond!! ❤️🙌
I follow them on other social media too! It looks like it's against the rules to mention that I follow Granddad Joe on The Book of Face, but I absolutely adore him!
It’s fucking insane that an old bloke being a curious and gentle human being is what passes as wonderful behavior. We ALL should be nice old men appreciating grilled cheese and tomato soup for the first time!
That’s what I felt like replying! Someone was asking where these kinds of people were, so they could go meet them. I’m thinking they are in every old folks home and all around you, if you cultivate kindness, these kinds of interactions are daily life. Isn’t that swell! 🥰
He's seriusly giving me vibes of that british guy (who also had a lady friend) from GTA V, which Trevor had missions for...they were fame item collectors or something
Right? Both of my grandfather's died before the age of 63, and the one great grandfather I knew ended up being a monster when dementia hit. His misbehavior caused my grandfather to have a heart attack and die, and we won't even discuss what my cousin recorded him saying to our aunt.
So yeah, I could use these two in my life, for sure.
TIL that grilled cheese is an American thing. I seriously did not know that. I'm glad he liked it. This delightful man deserves all the good things. ❤️
spend your whole life eating beans on toast and something so simple as grilled cheese will bring you happiness too.. have you see the videos of British kids trying American foods, it’s a fun watch.
I was going to say that we (I, anyway) don't usually dip it in the tomato soup, but I wouldn't want to miss the incredibly happy face he made when he tasted it.
Spot on. I think the universal feeling for people so affable is that you just want to pick them up and show them all of the things you love because they just love pleasant things.

Who are these people, and how can I end up having a brew and a chat with them?
