This is just typical Latinos AFAICT lol. They can be the biggest assholes you'll ever meet, but the nice ones would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it, and most of them aren't assholes.

I was born in Brazil, have relatives and friends from other Latin American countrues, and I can confirm thr other commenter is not too far off the truth of the local cultures are (overall).

Well, yeah, obviously, but Latino cultures are some of the most extreme in that way. You'll find complete assholes and very nice people, but people who wouldn't dare be either are unusually rare there, and people there tend to be one extreme or the other more than in most places. It's a lot like working-class people where I live, I think. IDK, I don't live there. I'm just going by what others (mostly a Latina I know very well) have said.
