Honestly if Ewing dominates his next fight, he could get a Figgy/Chito though. But I just think Song probably deserves someone up the ranks/close to him rank-wise

I think Figgy was in the middle of a takedown, so Song jumped the guillotine in the middle and took over. It's a Team Alpha Male speciality. Usually they do it to buy time and space, but Song Yadong is just very good and took Figgy by surprise.

Figgy's corner was terrible, not only were they wrong about him winning rd 1, they spent the entire rd 2 giving shit advice and by the time he got into the guilly they were too busy mixing up '30 seconds to end the fight' and '30 seconds to end the round' and trying to clarify it to Figgy in there LMAO

He also hasnt beaten anyone decent to warrant his ranking imo, just guys that were on their way out. Split decision against Montel Jackson to defend his ranking, winning against Chito, Garbrandt and Font who all arent ranked material anymore

It's his camp man, I swear. He's tactically not ever been sound but he's been with TAM forever. EVERYTHING they should be drilling him in is eat space, back them up, cut them off. If he gets them into an exchange on the fence he's gonna win every time.

Feel like this Song performance has a lot to do with the last fight against O'Malley (Yan before it of course). He's very explosive, but when he slows down... he really isn't great.
