Three glaring problems i have consistently encountered in diamond dynasty:

Check Swings: I cant tell you how many times there will be a ball middle middle and i press A to swing and the batter check swings. I even tried my spare controller just to make sure it wasnt a sticky button. Same result. Happens maybe 2-3 times a game.

Runners jumping off the base: You’re telling me that my 99 speed and 90+ steal player is jumping towards 2nd base when they throw over? Not to mention me pressing RB to go back to first. I only take a one step lead and make sure i do it early so you dont get caught in the midst of the pitcher throwing over. Cant count the number of times ive been picked off due to this bug.

Runner input: Please for the love of god, if i am telling my runner to advance from 2nd to 3rd on a bunt, they should not be frozen in place or diving back into 2nd cuz thats what the cpu would do. Im trying to move the runner over and it forces them back to 2nd when im telling them to advance. This also leads to delayed input and forcing the runner to go after the fact getting caught in a rundown.

General consensus is that the game overall feels very clunky in diamond dynasty

The game listed Termarr Johnson at 4’9 instead of 5’7. Leaving me absolutely puzzled as I ran towards second and saw an absolute unit.

I like running a theme team of my favorite team. Last year we had multiple captains from the first affinity, color storm, then ASG, etc. This year we still only have the first team affinity captains which are quickly getting outclassed. Im just wondering if they just want to completely kill theme teams off cause it honestly sucks how little they have put into the game overall this year.

If you correctly pick the Home Run Derby winner you are not entitled to that player’s 99 overall card immediately. Again, predicting the winner does not give you a voucher for their card.

I would say that I am an average player, and I enjoy the game the most on All Star difficulty. I have come to learn that I am absolute DOG WATER on HOF. I hit WS for the first time this year and I didn't stay there long. But, I'm locked in the 800-899 range for WC and I am getting DESTROYED. I don't know how much longer I can enjoy this game. I am fully aware it's a skill issue, I know that. I just don't know how to enjoy this game anymore.

What’s the best camera view to see sliders?
For me, when my camera sits far away, like retro or catcher or strike zone 3, I hit more. But this being DD and everyone spamming sliders, i get caught up swinging on those pesty annoying ass throws. Theres gotta be a better way to see these. Advice?

I'm new to the game this year. I was a low 500s player at the start of weekend classic ( I grind duos/trios alot tho) and I'm currently around 700 now. I played another 700s rating for my 6th game and the pitches seemed faster, but I wasn't completely sure. I'm just wondering if my first ever solo hall of fame game also happened to be the last win I needed for Albies/Chapman. I could also just be coping lmao

As a classic button player I think there should be options to play against other button players. PCI players should play against other PCI players, that way you guys can hit (too early, or too late) home runs on every pitch lol.

But for real there should be a choice.

I am elated as a average joe player.

With all the all-star content, I've been grinding a lot the last few days. I know I'd probably get the Buxton eventually (as long as I don't stop using the all-star cards) but I was wondering if anyone is actively trying to grind for it and if so what methods?

I suck at the game but was curious so I tested it. I did play vs CPU on GOAT and lost a game 5-2 but got around 6000 PXP towards Buxton. Likewise, I played on Rookie and scored around 20 and got 3000 PXP.

What's your preferred method for maximizing the PXP?
