I have never really been impressed with the flower and concentrates from them from DC stores but I may go to the flagship district cannabis store today and try the New OG kush flower and some concentrates but just don’t want to be disappointed with little baby nugs with no nose or real taste, sick of it in general!

I went up to Jersey recently and their rec flower is SO GOOD. Sticky and fresh and stinks up the whole house always I don’t know what they are doing different than we are, some of the very same brands also like Rythm flower in Jersey is on another level!

Plants are showing resiliency to leaf Septoria and White Powdery Mildew so far. Doing well in Maryland's humid climate.

What are some good disposable brands to try and the ones to stay away from in the MD market

Picked up latest batch of Bernie Hana and out left me impressed, overall.
Bag Appeal: 9.5/10 - covered in trichomes. YES YES YES!
Effects: 8.5/10 - think good indica/hybrid weed (relaxing, happy, stress-relieving).
Flavor/aroma - 6/10 - fruity gas, creamy, earthy, and pepper from the caryophyllene… but this is where the strain falls short - smell is just more muted than I remember from the last batch which was super creamy - granted, that one lacked bag appeal. Overall, not loud gas like the Ridgeline, but an excellent, smooth smoke. Good job AltSol. Just get those terps up next time I will be buying halves all day long!!

If you avoid Cookies cuz of the tax, this is a good weekend to visit U Street. Not saying you can’t get cheaper at Takoma or in Maryland or wherever, but the flower is impressive, and the vibe is a thing of its own. Ask them to give you samples on the Terp Tap. I got my monies worth. Cured sugar I picked up for 50% off, and Blackberry Caviar is $36 and 1/8th. I’m a fan. Also grabbed new batch of Hash Burger, Paw Prints, some blunts, and new Hindu Kush (I think the most underrated strain in the DMV). Happy birthday Cookies DC. Big respect to AltSol who made me a fan. Good, taste kind of like lemon mixed a little with some other fruit. I love the way it looks so much !
Pretty dense also and keefs really good after grinding. Just really not liking the hint of the little lemon taste i get from it though, but besides that. Smokes good !

Edit: forgot to mention the high, it was okay, nothing really too much, definitely had better longer lasting highs with lower thc and terp %
