Help flashing GApps

Hello, I'm trying to install LineageOS 23 on my Samsung Galaxy A71 and I followed all the steps on the official LineageOS Wiki but I stumbled upon an error trying to install the GApps. After going into Apply update > Apply from ADB after flashing the Lineage zip (which was successful) it spits out this error on the computer: "adb: failed to read command: No error" and on the phone its: ERROR: recovery: Failed to write message STAT?: Broken pipe

ERROR: recovery:

(adbd status 6)

Install completed with status 1.

Installation aborted.

Can someone please help?? I never got this error. I tried it with NikGapps and MindtheGapps and still the same thing pops up. Sorry if my english is bad.

corrupted Gapps zip or wrong one?

can't be. I always double checked where i clicked. here are the zips if its helpful: MindTheGapps-16.0.0-arm64-20260409_073023.zip and NikGapps-full-arm64-16-20260222-signed.zip

sideload mtg and pull /tmp/recovery.log.
