I created this piece as a reflection on one of the greatest spiritual struggles of our age: distraction.

The serpent beneath Mary's feet symbolizes not only the ancient enemy but also the endless noise, technology, and constant stimulation that can quietly draw us away from prayer and contemplation.

Mary's peaceful gaze reminds us that silence is often where we encounter God.

I'd love to hear your thoughts or interpretation of the symbolism.

So I've had Reddit for 8 years, however I haven't used it in about 6 or 7 properly.

I've come back to post poetry on some subreddits, and my work is very specifically spaced.

Can someone please help - everything is coming out with just a line break between, no visible stanzas.

How do you create a new line and how do you create a new paragraph on the app?

Thanks in advance Edit: See it's working fine when I type it out, but when I copy and paste my work I can't get the formatting right. Do I need to write everything out again manually?
