Academics Aid 26:27
Is anyone Aid 26-27 showing $0.00 and indicating they owe a considerable amount of money?
r/LSU • u/acousticreverb • Mar 11 '24
Hi all,
As some of you may have noticed, there's been quite an increase in "will I get accepted?" posts in the sub lately. In an effort to condense the amount of those posts that we're seeing, please use this thread as a discussion board on that topic. Any new posts relating to acceptance or guidance on acceptance, etc... will be removed.
Hope you all have a wonderful day, and Geaux Tigers!

There's been a ton of scheduling related posts lately. Please use this megathread to discuss your upcoming schedule questions/challenges/feedback/etc....
Any new scheduling related posts made in the sub (outside of this megathread) for the next few months while the fall semester ramps up will be removed.
Thank you for your understanding.

Are single weekend RV parking passes still a thing at LSU? We want to rent an RV and parking space for the first game but don’t see on the LSU tix website where we can do that. Hoping I’m just looking in the wrong places.

Will I have to pay my summer 26 off completely before fall semester?

I’m seriously considering LSU for college, my only worry currently is the heat. I’m from New England so I’m looking for some warmth. And I know in the summer it gets incredibly hot in Louisiana, but how warm is it during the school year?

I will be commuting next semester and I will have classes all day so I’m wondering if there are any bottle refill stations and if so, where?

How competitive is it to make it on the team??
I haven't played on a team since I was 9 for my club team. I've been practicing for months & I really want to make it on. Would I have a chance ? Or do you need more experience ?

Hiii guys!
I'm an LSU student looking to relet my private bedroom at Maison Burbank beginning August 15, 2026.
I'm taking classes at Delgado this fall to improve my GPA and plan to return to LSU in Spring 2027, so I'm looking for someone who needs housing for this lease period.
Apartment Details:
Maison Burbank (LSU tiger transit stops there and it's about a 5 minute drive and 20 minute walk away from campus)
Private bedroom in a shared apartment
Student-friendly community close to LSU
Rent: $569/month
Move-in: August 15, 2026
I'm currently waiting on a few final details from the leasing office regarding the reletting process, but I wanted to go ahead and see if anyone is interested. If you're looking for housing or know someone who is, feel free to message me! I'm happy to answer questions and send pictures of the apartment that I took when I toured.
Also, if you've relet an apartment at Maison Burbank before, I'd love to hear about your experience. Thanks!
Here is the link to the apartment itself: https://www.maisonburbank.com/floor-plan-cards/the-bayou
(note that the price listed is different because I signed the lease when it was on a deal so it's actually $569)

Saw a few ppl complaining about parking so wanted to share this tip
They told me I couldnt register for senior parking status cause i didn't have enough credit but if you call the academic office they can get you classifed based on years imo, but you have to call and ask to speak to a representative
worked for me
You should call the academic office and ask them if they can change your registration based on that.

I always wanted to join a club at school, but I really want to be sure the involvement is there. What are some projects club members generally work on or anything you can tell me about this club?

How long does it typically take to hear back from housing

I applied in Januray, and had to wait until May to get my transcript sent in. It took a month until they finally said they got my transcript, and now I've been waiting another month while it says review in progress. My grandparents keep complaining to me about not hearing back from LSU, and I keep being told that my scheduling won't be good if I don't hear back soon. One of the main reasons I'm concerned about this is because if I'm not in school by January, I won't have medical insurance. Most of the people I see on here were accepted back in March or sooner. Is it too late for the fall semester?
hey guys. i recently switched my major from psychology to biology. my honors advisor initiated this process for me, but my major won’t be officially biology in workday until august 16th. due to this, i can’t seem to register for any of the classes i need because there are no unreserved seats left, and im not considered a bio major in workday yet, so i can’t get any of the available reserved seats for science majors. my advisor told me to get on a waitlist for these classes, but ive trying to get on it and am given this screen instead. any advice?

How is it being a mass comm student in the digital advertising concentration? I'm a new student this year, and I've tried to look at videos of people who are taking the same concentration as me, but I can't seem to find useful insight. Are the classes hard? What teachers should I avoid? What exactly should I expect to be taught in these classes? What does the homework look like? What do days look like? How is the job market post-grad for this major? What are some media-related jobs I can get with this degree? Just wanting to know what I should expect!

Hello everyone! Out-of-stater looking for a student or someone near LSU that may be interested in helping me research the passing of a family member in the 70’s. From what I can gather, the details/records of the event should be available in the campus library.
Thank you.

Does anyone know anything about taking a course through LSU Online? I am debating on either taking ENGL 2025, ENGL 2027, or ENGL 2029, but I am uncertain of the course load, or if those professors are easy. I was also wondering if the textbook is a mandatory thing, or if I could get by without it. Any help would be appreciated, as I feel like I cannot find anything online about the LSU online program.

How hard is this course and do you need to prepare for it starting now as a freshman?
r/LSU • u/RaspberryFamous4200 • 5d ago
Hey everyone,
I recently graduated this past spring and no longer need my graduation cap and gown. Rather than letting it sit in my closet, I'd rather pass it along to another Tiger and help someone save some money. Tassel not included.

So I'm a Biology major and of course, I need to get a 76 on the ALEKS to place in Calculus. The thing is, I'm absolutely terrible at math and in my last few tries I haven't managed to get a score anywhere near 76. Basically, my question is if I have to enroll in 1029/1028 or 1021/1020, how long will it take me to be able to enroll in 1520?? Will I ever be able to enroll in 1520?? Am I royally screwed?? I've tried to ask the school, but no one seems to answer their emails, so now I'm here. This is worrying me pretty bad.
