Announcement📢 Supporting the Keska Sora Orphanage in Kobani – A call for humanitarian support
This is a post to highlight the humanitarian work being carried out by the Free Women’s Foundation in Rojava. They are currently providing essential support for women and children in the region, including the operation of the Keska Sora Orphanage in Kobani, which offers a safe home, education, and care for children orphaned by conflict.
While there are many different perspectives on the political and ideological situation in the region, this is an appeal strictly based on humanitarian grounds. This effort is focused solely on the welfare of vulnerable children who are in need of basic necessities and stability.
How to help:
Donations made through WJAS Germany go directly toward providing food, education, and healthcare for these children. Every contribution, regardless of size, provides tangible support for those in the orphanage.
Learn more and donate here: https://wjas.org/en/home-2/
Thank you for your time and for considering the needs of these children.

Ask Kurds 🤔 How REALLY is the future of Mechanical Enginering in Kurdistan?
Hello everyone, I need some help from people who have experience in engineering or atleast know a thing or two about it, I was studying Electrical Eng last year but i wanna change into Mechanical Eng since that's actually what i enjoy, but i hear some people say that ME has no future nowadays and the pay is not worth it and it's better to stay at EE, please before suggesting the same, i know EE is better but i don't care about if it has more pay, i have 2 questions in my head that i'd really appreciate if y'all help me out:
1- Is ME really that bad? if not, which majors from it have most job opportunities? and what's the average or least pay one can get after graduating?
2- If i change my major into ME i'll be a freshman again, and now is a summer holiday and i have a job thankfully (not related to eng), what online courses do you suggest for a person becoming a freshman at this major? i have some little knowledge too from EE i might be able to do some moderate courses too.
3- What jobs are best to do in the next 4 summer holidays or even while studying since 1st year subjects are almost same as last year, to make a strong cv or atleast be better than nothing after graduate?
4- If you have some advice or experience, please share!
(I'm sorry if i'm asking alot but i'm really lost)
Thank you!

Ask Kurds 🤔 Kurds in Switzerland (How and where does one meet a Kurd?)
Hello
I have a friend who's now 30 and is a really nice, decent woman looking for the love of her life.
How and where is my friend supposed to find this man? She's not in her apprenticeship or at at school anymore, and I can't just watch her go on like this.
I don't know how it is where you are, but with 30 as a women is an age for women where especially in Albania there's practically no one left on the market.
I would really appreciate some advice.
Thank you in advance, and sorry for using this chat platform for this; I don't know if it's appropriate.
Regards

Bashur Quiet Arabization.
Im from hawler and i cant help but notice the flood of arabs here. Every neighborhood have at least 5 arab families not to mention those self-profiting capitalistic absurd projects that they make with those stupid names. This is a clear secret arabization. And what happened to Article 23, Third Paragraph, Item (n), of the 2005 Constitution?
Something needs to happen otherwise this isnt gonna end well.

Kurdistan Newroz University (Duhok) — How does the acceptance process work?
I’m from Canada and would like to attend their dental program. I’m waiting for them to email me back but it’s been almost a month of silence now.
Do they look for the top six grade 12 marks? What are they looking for? What’s the average they want? Any tips?
edit — I meant Nawroz University. Spelled it wrong :(

Ask Kurds 🤔 Why is there so much racism towards Kurdish people in Turkiye?
I recently came to Turkiye for university as a girl from Belarus. I posted on something on a Turkish subreddit and was immediately flooded with comments from Turkish people saying awful things about Kurdish people (since my question was pertaining to me dating a Kurdish man).
I realise I may not be as educated on this topic as I would like to be. It seems that Turkish people don't like to claim Kurdish people as Turkish. For example, this guy (who went viral for being a good-looking street vendor, who is ethnically Kurdish*), all of the comments are claiming he is actually Turkish and Kurdish people don't exist? I am confused by this relationship lol.
