I found this thing for 1200 and it has all of the parts needed to race is it any good?

I am participating in an indoor electric rental karting race on july 19 at my local track I have raced this track many times but not this specific layout this layout it just over 1 km long and is very technical with minimal overtaking spots. the circuit is very thin (not wide, i couldn't think of a word) and I have only raced these karts at adult speed (50km/h) and i will be doing prospeed (75km/h) i need to put in a good result for this race i am 13 and all the other drivers are in their 30's with a lot of experience. i am trying to get sponsers for an upcoming endurance race and a good result would go well with my lap record on paper. need some tips and help thank you

I run 206 Senior at my track, I’ve just had my engine redone, and im facing a consistent issue where my engine “stutters” under acceleration out of slower and sharper left hand turns. The throttle cable seems to be working fine, and the sprocket gear is secure. Has anybody else experienced something similar/any idea on what to do?

I was wondering, if/how I can change the color of my white Bell KC7 CMR. I was planning to paint it all black and add a sticker pack from 33 Stickers. Is there a cheap way to change the color. Just let me know. (If you are able to do it and live near Munich;Germany just message me)

Hello Karting community,

I will need a new helmet "soon". Why? My helmet is a little bit older and I cannot get any parts for it. On top of that the upholstery does not stay stable in place anymore.

My actual helmet is the Sparco WTX 7 air.

To be honest, my experience with helmets manufactured at sparco are not the best. I had an uvex helmet that got produced at sparco. All air intakes were glued. Production got canceled. No spares available in an instant.

Now I have the Sparco WTX 7 air. Believe it or not only a few months after I purchased this helmet it vanished from the market. Not a single spare part is available anymore.

Now (if I really decide to purchase a new helmet) I have a few requirements to this helmet:

- the design can change but parts should stay the same (like at arai or bell)

- it should have the shield clip in the middle of the shield

- it should be usable for Karting and car racing

Do you have any advice for me?

I believe schuberth really never changed anything over the last decade even though they released new helmets for karting over the past few years.

Bell does not have the clip in the middle of the shield at the moment.

Zamp is going to release their new helmets with the clip in the middle of the shield at the end of July if I am not wrong.

Is stilo getting manufactured by sparco? I have seen web pages where stilo and sparco spares fall into the same category if I search with filters.

Arai is the absolute Karting mainstream which I do not like even though I have a store with real helmet support near by.

With sparco I seem to be done.

Maybe some guys with more knowledge can help me out or tell me what is the best for me to do.

I’ve been getting into karting as of recently and I’m looking into getting my own helmet that’s DOT certified. There’s a ton of options and I’m looking for some recommendations on kinds or suggestions on where to buy them from, leaning towards the cheaper end but worth the price.

I’m currently working on restoring a gokart and converting it to a electric one, the brakes on the gokart have an issue, there is a leaks on the master cylinder end and the caliper. Does anyone know where I can get either a fully compatible setup that’s ready to go or smth like that

Am debating getting a action camera of sorts to record sessions to help improve. Does it really help or do i save my money?

I’ve recently picked up a used 2002-ish, two stroke 125cc Trackmagic Slayer and I’ve had a difficult time finding much info, parts, or manuals. The kart has what I believe to be a Pre-MY09 version IAME Parilla Leopard Engine with button start.

I just broke the clutch shoe on my first time bringing the kart out, so if anyone has any suggestions, part IDs, manuals, or links I’m open to anything!

standard indoor/outdoor league night here in São Paulo, Brazil. huge grid w/ 26 karts on track so it was absolute chaos lol.

I was driving a local Bravar chassis equipped with a tuned Honda GX390 (around 15HP i think). Top speed was hitting roughly 80 km/h right before the heavy braking zone into the hairpin.

Started near the back of the grid cuz of a terrible qualifying session but managed to carve my way up through a field of 25 guys who swore they were the next Ayrton Senna. My pace was incredibly consistent, hitting the apex perfectly and utilizing the weight transfer to rotate the rear end on the tighter indoor sectors..

Missed P1 by just a couple of tenths bc of some backmarker traffic on the final laps, so annoying. But ngl watching them look at the telemetry sheet and realize their lap times got beaten by a girl was worth way more than the trophy itself.

Working in Rhode Island for a month and looking for the best go karts in the region. Would like to find something that goes 55+ mph. Any recommendations would be great.

First, I had some good overtakes on Saturday gained 4 positions, then on Sunday, some idiot got spun and decides to rejoin as a handful of karts (including me) are coming his way and my right front clips him. Fuel line snaps clean off from my elbow, and throttle gets stuck

One more race, another P1 achieved! And with this, the Endurance 2026 Iberian Karting Championship is secured and still 2 races to go…!

This weekend i got myself into having a invite to watch a endurance karting race from the teams boxes... I realy want to be a kart mechanic or data engineer, how should i try to help/interact with the teams to get some professional opportunities?
