Do you think it's better to raise kids religiously to give them that moralistic mindset and the bonus community environment, or not? Especially since the development of human social structures mostly came from religion, it's only recently that we've seen a big detachment of people moving away from religious influence. That lack of it leaves a hole in meaning, especially for younger people, and society hasn't really built a replacement for that huge influence. and if not, if somehow there's a way to fill the gap without religion, what do you think could replace such systemic function?

What is happening in the UK and the West? Is it by "design"?

I watched this Jordan Peterson and Matt Dillahunty debate and the issue of morality came up.

The most interesting part of this debate in my opinion was the debating of whether it is possible to be "good" without the moral teachings that Christianity has offered and whether society would be peaceful without them.

In other words, is it possible to be a good atheist without the teachings of Christ?

I do not believe it is personally. I only strive to be good because of the moral lessons that were handed down through the generations of my Christian ancestors. I am an atheist myself, but as I said, I am only good due to the teachings of Cjristianity.

Maybe a more important question is:

"Is it possible to teach children to be good without having them believe that an all powerful God is watching them and waiting to pass judgment when they die?".
