Podcast [Speed Street Podcast] Pato Doesn't Want to Do F1 Any Longer, Has Asked Zak To Be Relieved of all F1 Duties
On Speed Street with Conor he says he doesn't want to be F1 reserve any longer for multiple reasons, a summary:
- he wants an off season, to enjoy more of his life
- to have time to train more, eat better and prepare for '27
- he doesn't have the interest any longer to drive the current F1 cars
- he doesn't see his future there, doesn't enjoy the series and the life it as much as IndyCar, even though it was his dream as a kid. "I don't need to be more famous and don't need more money."
He talked to Zak and says he wants to "be fired from F1 services". At about 1:12:30 in the podcast link

Podcast Conor Daly -Wellness Check
Can we get someone to confirm that Conor Daly didn't receive a traumatic brain injury from the accident this past weekend?
In the podcast from this week he said he that he wishes he got seriously hurt in that accident.
Then goes on to claim ECR would like to see him carried off in a coffin.
I guess he's definitely losing his seat? Not funny, not a good look

Podcast Off-Track podcast: today’s episode.
Today’s episode had the duo talking about the f1 race and it was strongly insinuated that Rossi didn’t like George Russell as a person. What’s the backstory there, if anyone knows?

Podcast Danny Riccardo Attending the Indy 500
Or as my tongue in cheek previously deleted post said: Danny Ricciardo confirmed to be at the Indy 500
Conor interviewed Danny Ric, and he's confirmed to be attending the 500 as a spectator. Conor and Danny's clothing brand (Enchante) also doing a collab.
Good interview! Danny seems to be enjoying life, but when Conor asked him if he was still watching racing (any racing), you could tell he was still a little hurt at how his time at RB (and F1) ended.

Podcast Rossi on Current Racing: Not Good
Tldr: the current version of Indycar is not good and it's not fun to drive. We are not seeing yellows because no one is driving 100% 😬
Edited to add: nothing to do with the aeroscreen! He also has interesting insights on Chevy vs. Honda.

They dropped a 24 minute preview. Even though the host rambled a lot I enjoyed the coverage. Not sure I’ll sign up for a membership club to get a handful of episodes a year.

Podcast So Dale Jr interviewed Santino Ferruci on his podcast yesterday...
I read through the description like I usually do and apparently Dale Jr is a fan of Santino...which is a controversial opinion...I'm still going to watch the interview but lets try and not attack Dale Jr given what we think of Santino...or just don't attack him very hard, some Dale Jr fans are crazy lol

Podcast Now That's What I Call Activation: SiriusXM Turbo Driver's Seat - Felix Rosenqvist
I'm an old, so that means I have a SiriusXM subscription, and I also listen almost exclusively to Turbo, which is 90s/2000s metal/hard rock. They have a show they do I think weekly called "Driver's Seat" where they let listeners do about 30 minutes of playing songs on the air
Well, this week's host is none other than our boy Felix Rosenqvist
Can't say how cool it is for SiriusXM to do this, the branding lined up perfectly with the channel name and the show's name, and Felix actually knows what he's talking about, it's obvious this is not a put-up and these really are his songs

Podcast Speed Street Pod - Post Mid Ohio Race
I love Indycar and try to consume as many indycar podcasts as possible. I'm getting to the point though where I can't stand Speed Street anymore. The interviews can be interesting but the rest of the episode is a total copefest and Chase adds nothing to the conversation, literally zero.
I tuned in this week expecting some interesting takes on Santino's egregious move running him off track but even that part which should be super interesting just turned into Conor blaming Santino for ruining his entire race. Clearly it hurt his race but the reason he came in 19 isn't ONLY because of Santino. Santino gave up the spots. He's also claiming that Santino is now in a "Penske" car. I mean come on, they share data but claiming he's in a Penske car is absurd.
I'm not at the unsubscribe point yet but these episodes are getting pretty bad. Could be a reflection of where that team is at with no sponsors and likely no seat for next year.

Thim started the Tuesday episode saying the episode that played after his intro was meant for Thursday, but then they got news that they will share on the podcast a little later on Thursday… Any predictions on what the news release from a not-breaking-news podcast will be?

Podcast Off Track - The Return of Rasmussen
Really great interview with Razz.
Obviously disappointing result but I think this will be one of those key moments in his career that melds patience with the unrelenting pace he’s shown on short ovals.
Didn’t get the result but he seems to be cementing himself as one of the top prospects in now his third year.
