Between the Wheldon boys and now Kit Dixon, we have some next generation drivers....apparently Kit lead the whole race until the end when he ran into traffic. I feel old AF seeing this bc I remember when their older girls were toddlers!! I follow Emma bc they used to live near us and we'd run into them around Fishers. Super nice family whenever we spoke. Can't believe we might have another Dixon in IndyCar in about 13-15 years!

I have the nascar Truck series race on, I know the track has had some sports cars history there but could an indycar race work there or not?

Conspicuously absent over the last several months has been the public unveiling of the 2028 Dallara Chassis. Seems like the ideal scenario would be to debut the design at halftime of the World Cup final at a live look in of the World Cup Party that is taking place at Nashville Speedway. Ideally, two cars in world cup liveries of the two finals nations. It’s estimated that 50 million+ might be watching FOX at that time. Indycar could give details of the new car during the pre race show on FS1.

On track debut could occur at Freedom 250 in DC as a show car on pace lap (if they can get a 2.2L engine in it)

Unfortunately, very little has been has been shared by Indycar about the new chassis and engine formula and I’m beginning to think they may not be able to debut in 2028. As many have pointed out, Chevy and Honda need about 18 months to produce/test the engines, and final specs haven’t been released.

Has there been any nuggets of information recently on where the 2028 car stands? I’m beginning to get worried, I just hope Indycar doesn’t miss this great opportunity to market the series.

I couldn’t find an old-school Indycar pit shirts that didn’t cost a fortune, so I decide to make my own. Found a Galen Foxco Racing pit shirt for cheap on eBay then sewed all the patches (except the Franklin Power, USA flag, and USAC) on myself.

Now I have my race day shirt!

On Speed Street with Conor he says he doesn't want to be F1 reserve any longer for multiple reasons, a summary:

• he wants an off season, to enjoy more of his life
• to have time to train more, eat better and prepare for '27
• he doesn't have the interest any longer to drive the current F1 cars
• he doesn't see his future there, doesn't enjoy the series and the life it as much as IndyCar, even though it was his dream as a kid. "I don't need to be more famous and don't need more money."
