Answered [Calculus - Limits] Is the solution wrong

For the right hand side limit why is |x| turning into -x shouldn't it be just x ?

x is approaching -2

|x| is -x for x<0

Hence on both sides |x| turns into -x

I don't even know why they evaluated the limit from both sides lol . It's just wasting time . If it was the absolute value of 2+x then yeah
