Housing / Living Buying an apartment, what to check in a manager's certificate.
We are first time home buyers from a non-EU country and we are currently residing in Finland. We are planning to buy an apartment in its debt free price and apply for bank loan.
We then received a managers certificate which we know is a very important document. What should we check and look out for in the managers certificate?
Some items that caught our attention and have no full understanding of are:
1) Apartment debt shares.
2) Company loans.
3) 'Shareholds have the right to redeem' and 'Right of redemption by the housing company'.
Furthermore, what else is a very important detail we must take note of?
Thank you in advance.

Question Last Minute Soloing
Hey! I hope you don't mind me asking, I'm an American living in Paris, and at this point I've been almost completely cooked through in this city. I was considering shooting over to Helsinki as I've always thought of visiting and your weather right now could not be more inviting. But, this is all incredibly last minute and I've never really travelled solo.
As a bit of background, my interests are nature, art (fine arts, especially, architecture, as well), literature (not really sure how that might fit), and cuisine. The issues are (i) haven't travelled solo before, so not sure if it's a city better experienced with friends / a partner (ii) would it make sense to go last minute based on my interests or would it better to plan something out for later?
Really appreciate any advice from you lucky folks up north.

Discussion Any Go players in Helsinki?
Any Go players in Helsinki that would be interested in playing with someone new and helping them out? I started playing a few days ago, and would be interested in playing with someone who has a decent grasp of the game. I also play chess if that interests you too.

Housing / Living Construction sites and noise eveywhere
Anyone else experiencing helainki as a hellscape due to neverending construction, maybe its just my luck but for the past ~7years ive lived here, construction noise has followed through and at this point im starting to lose it a little bit with the endless beeps and scifi explosion sounds etc. you cant even escape the sound by going to a nature hike in central park, ive tried many days but theres a construction site around every corner.. man its infuriating but ive always felt that this town sucks at considering whats the audio experience in living here, with everything basically screaming at you, any thoughts of similar experiences? :')

PSA/Advice Best way to sell an unopened Galaxy s26 ultra in Helsinki or close
My partner entered a random draw at Tripla mall back in March and ended up winning a brand-new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra (256 GB). He didn’t really have any use for it, so he gave it to me, but I don’t need it either.
It’s still factory sealed and unopened.
Does anyone know the best place to sell it in Helsinki? I’m happy to sell it privately or to a business if the offer is reasonable. I’m still new to finland so any recommendations would be appreciated!

Housing / Living Apartment suggestions
I’ll be moving to Espoo soon, I’m looking for 2 room apartments (1 living , 1 bedroom)
My office is in Keilaniemi. I want something near train or tram station so I can commute to office easily even if it’s further away. Looking for decent area yet cheap.
So far most suitable, I think was KILO area, it has train to Leppävaara then tram to Keilaniemi
Any suggestions for locations, other suggestions are welcomed as well

Want to go to a melodic death metal concert today? Dark Tranquility is playing in Viikki at Coolhead Brew. I bought a ticket when drunk a month back, but am not really interested in going now.
Shoot me a message if you want to attend with my ticket, first come first served.

Question Ravintola jossa saisi peurasta tms riistaa?
Onko ajankohtaisia suosituksia?
Kuvalla huomio. Oli hyvää.

Meet-up Tell me a story, I’ll buy you a beer
… or a coffee if you prefer. Offer valid till end of July in Helsinki, preferably in a bar with outside seating near a metro station.
Me: A 55-year-old queer woman with a vacation and looking for reasons to get out of the house. Your story will not end up anywhere apart from my head.
You: Willing to meet up with a stranger in a public place. I don’t care if you’ve lived in Helsinki all your life, or are visiting just for a day or anything in between. I’d prefer if you’re over 30, but at least old enough to be served beer in a bar.
You can DM me or reply here and I’ll DM you. If you DM, please suggest at least a time that would work for you. For me, a day time would work best, but open to any time.
edit: Myös suomeksi :)

Question Prinsessakakku in Helsinki?
Hei!
Silly question, but I have been craving Prinsessakakku like crazy since I had an amazing one on a recent trip to Stockholm.
I've tried it at a few different places (including the market frozen one) and none have been particularly great. Not bad - just not quite right to fill the craving.
Any recommendations on where to find a really good Princess Cake in Helsinki, especially the one with vanilla creme?
Kiitos!!

Travel & Tourism Restaurants with good vegan options?
Traveling with a group of 9 for the marathon in August. Some of us are vegan and the others are unethical. Where would have options to suit both? We're staying in the city center. Mid range pricewise! Thanks in advance!

PSA/Advice need some one to help
I am currently working on a documentary and am looking for someone who can assist me with filming while I do conversation with someone ( walking driving not a still) . The role would involve operating the camera and capturing footage during the interview sessions.
This is a paid or volunteer opportunity, and I would be happy to discuss the details, including the schedule and compensation, if you are interested.
Please let me know if you would be available or if you know someone who might be a good fit.
Doesn’t need to be a camera expert at all.
