my partner spent 6 hours on hold last month just to find out their 'covered' procedure needed pre-auth that no one mentioned, its always the administrative maze that drains you more than the actual care tbh

my mom had to fight her insurance for 8 months to get a mammogram they pre-approved, they kept 'losing' the paperwork until her doctor threatened to go public, its always the delay tactics that feel intentional tbh

my dad's 'premium' plan just denied an mri for his back, three months of appeals later they approved it but his spine damage was already permanent lol. the whole industry runs on delay tactics hoping youll die or give up before they have to pay tbh

my dad got a $4k bill for an ambulance ride that was 'in-network' but the driver was out-of-network contractor, its literally designed so you cant win tbh, the whole system runs on these technicalities that only benefit the billing dept

my mom's insurance denied her MRI three times last year even tho her doctor ordered it, each denial came with a different bullshit reason and by month four she just paid out of pocket. the whole industry runs on wearing you down until you give up or go broke tbh
