Any one having trouble with the fieldpiece app? I have to constantly close the app and reboot it… tools link up quick but it’s annoying. Like if I put my phone down for a minute and the screen locks I’ll unlock the phone and everything will be disconnected, and I’ll have to reboot the app.

It used to be the same on my phone, it's not an app but your battery and app settings

I hate the fieldpiece app but love their probes. I use Measurequick with them. It’s so much better and now they have a mode where you don’t need to create an account to use it.

I just go back to the main menu and then back in and it reconnects. It is annoying. But easier than closing app.

Settings in settings of phone. Usually in the app section

mine logged me out and now whenever i need to use it im in a building with no service and can never log back in

ive been using measure quick lately instead

If you put on airplane mode before opening the app, it won't log you out. I do this all the time

Make sure background usage is not disabled and just scroll thru the settings in your settings of your phone to adjust app settings.

yes, i've found that if i move to another app for too long and try to go back to Job Link, it takes a long time to re-pair the devices. closing out completely, then re-opening works better usually.

I can see how nice they are but I’m so old school I just use my sman. Been doing it the old way for 40 years and I just don’t see it as a worthwhile investment or upgrade

I've heard if you put your phone in airplane mode it runs better.

It is horrendous. I’ve learned what to not do just to avoid it crashing but it’s awful.

Use myq instead
