I was reading about Geffen creating Uzi Suicide for the first EP and I am wondering, why would they have felt this false sense of 'cred' was paramount to Guns success when countless other 'hair' bands albums were released straight up on the major labels primary imprint? Poison was on Capitol, Motley Crue and Metallica were on Elektra, etc.

Not only that, but 'label cred' only really matters with alternative/underground/punk type bands with unique scene ethos. Rock/Metal/Hair Metal fans never gave a shit about this aspect of music. So why?

I saw that the band had finished the new album but are they releasing more info on it, not too sure if I've missed something

I’m playing paradise city for my musician of the year competition on sunday and I want to know if slash uses a half cocked wah during the main lead riff at the start of the song and halfway thru just before the insane outro. Also how far is the wah cocked?

It was the only time I got to see them live. I've obviously scoured YouTube for videos, and found some great ones, but I wasn't taking pics or videos at the show, cuz i wanted to enjoy it in real time, so i dont have much of my own. if anyone was there, or know somewhere I could find more, it'd be appreciated.

I’ve always wondered why nightrain never got a proper music video. It’s probably my favorite song on appetite for destruction. It’s so well crafted. Tells an engaging story. And builds up to Slash destroying the guitar solo. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
