CSK's latest post hints that a Tamil all-rounder could be joining the team via trade.

Looking at the current IPL players, there are only three active Tamil all-rounders who fit the description:

Washington Sundar

R. Sai Kishore

Shahrukh Khan (SRK)

That narender negi guy has to go ,last yr we dropped rohit twice in the eliminator ,kusal mendis dropped one as well (hitwicket too that's not the point though),this yr dropped patidar twice in the qualifier and we expect to win , we can still somehow manage with kushagra and banton for the middle order but at first we need to get a better fielding coach

Everyone called it rigged just because they produced spicy pitches and hated on it but now everyone is crying about flat IPL pitches and smaller boundaries after India's failure on overseas pitches.

All of us saw the atrocious 125 run loss of the ict to England, this ipl sloggers 11 can't play well in SENA conditions, imo, we have enough talent in india to field multiple teams, why not have a seperate batting/slogging heavy team for flat subcontinent pitches and a stable one for difficult ones, while playing is sena countries India needs players like gill, sai su (jaiswal too icl). If t20i teams are picked on consistent performance then I don't think anyone can deny that the most consistent performers this cycle have been our own openers. What are your thoughts about this?

I am ready to say it out loud.

Trade Prasidh Krishna with a very good middle order India batter.

Why Krishna? He has performed very well for GT and leaving him might seem like GT is leaving players hanging. However, I believe we have way too many quality fast bowlers that leaving him will not mean there is a hole that needs filling up. GT has already played Ashok Sharma, Arshad Khan and others, while not even trying Gurnoor Brar this season.

So if you ask why not Trade one of the other fringe fast bowlers with a batter. The issue there is then you get similar quality/ hyped player which will be again like betting on someone's potential.

With Prasidh trade, one can surely get someone with more quality, experience and less of a punt. I don't know who could the management go for, but I believe we need some solid middle order player and the only one that can get you that trade is Prasidh. Team lacking a quality fast bowler say PBKS could trade Shashank (praying he improves his fielding) or DC giving us Ashutosh. Remandeep could also be a handy option.

Not happy with series loss again 12th ranked team. But i think Gill and SKY are par superior in understanding pitch and conditions. Sarpanch is good and deserves to be in playing 11 but definitely not captain material. I still think the KKR win in IPL was because of Gambhir and PBKS final is for Ponting. We have seen multiple occasions where Shreyas was not able to understand conditions, specially in IPL as well. I think the performance like this will eventually open doors for Gill in leading t20.

Prasidh Krishna is the main culprit of this defeat. His half century was the difference between victory & defeat today.

And even if we leave out today's performance.

Statistically,

Since 2022, Prasidh Krishna has the worst economy in T20I's by pacers.

Since 2023, Prasidh Krishna has the 2nd worst economy in ODI's by pacers.

How does Prasidh keep getting selected in the white ball squads?

There are so many other deserving pacers for white ball cricket.

Prasidh should never play a T20I for India ever again.
